So phoned Amazon, they said still a chance could arrive Friday but they don't want to make any more changes to my order as it could push it further back.

Gutted. So annoying, I had the cash there but ordered ACIV today then had another change of heart but changed the order, turns out they have reserved the cash anyway so took my amount below what needed for the PS4. To be honest I wasn't even checking now as after the stories of Bone launch I thought payment was tomorrow when I get paid.

Salty tears, I wasn't even that hyped until this happened, now I feel like I MUST have it Friday.

Guys, I need reassurance here!!!!

Ah, thought it looked very similar. I was thinking earlier about whether to plug the PS4 directly into my tv and then run a digital optical to my amp to minimise any input lag, or just hdmi in like you're doing. Have you ever noticed any lag from going through the receiver? I tried looking online for some measurements but couldn't find any.

PS sorry I know this is OT but it's either this or more 'where's my despatched email' posts!

So, I've got the day off work on Friday, put away the old PS3 and dusted, downloaded the 1.51 update to a USB stick, added most of you guys on the PSN spreadsheet, pre-purchased the 2 free PS+ games and Warframe on PSN and have got Mario 3D World coming tomorrow to help pass the time.

Its soooo close guys!!

Just to let you know, Sony recommends downloading the firmware update specific to our region, and 1.51 comes out in Europe tomorrow lunchtime.

Not noticed any lag, no! I guess because it just passes the signal through with no processing? I'd definitely do it the HDMI route though, because you can take advantage of the lossless sound then too.

Might want to keep checking, Jon - mine's preparing for dispatch now.

(I swore to myself I wouldn't get caught up in the all the dispatch email/delivery insanity...)

So, next step is kvetching about which courier I might get? Come on DPD, come to papa jon.

Can't believe I'm only one who has had to amend their order :( I am guessing a few more might wake up to the email tomorrow.

Got email from amazon saying they had dealt with my call and my order would be dispatched tomorrow with possibility of delivery Friday.

Also now says in my status if I track package that they are processing my package now.

Kinda feel a bit more hopeful now.

I haven't received an email from Shopto yet and it's still listed as 'processing', but I have just got a dispatch email from DPD so I assume that's it unless I blacked out and ordered something in the last few hours. The email says it'll be delivered on the 28th though, is that standard and I can ignore and assume Friday?

Seeing people post about their Amazon order status I decided to check on mine and almost had a panic attack as it looked like the PS4 wasn't listed in my orders :o I ordered it more than six months ago (29th May) and I needed to use the menu to show all 2013 orders :D It's there but still saying "Not yet dispatched" Nothing to worry about as I've dealt with Amazon enough to know it could stay like that until tomorrow afternoon/evening; however the next 24hrs are still gonna be nerve-wracking :lol:

Tried to talk the shop near me into giving it to me a day early, he said no :(

Anyway, my day one haul will be:

That should be more than enough to keep me entertained. Also looking forward to Tiny Brains in Dec (looks like Powerstone!)

WTF. I just got the mail about the 28th as well. WTF is going on?

I thought getting a mail like this would make it better but its made it worse. SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Shopto still says processing. If you click on the link in the mail it says DPD have not received it yet.

I can't handle this.
