The most horrific possibility I can imagine this Friday is missing the delivery guy due to negligence.

That way you wouldn't even have the closure on whether or not the console was bricked for another 24 hours. This is a serious risk for me as in our flat block, the buzzer for our apartment is broken. It's really faint.

Can anyone offer any tips on not missing delivery guys?

I'm hoping Mario arrives from Shopto tomorrow, if so I'll sit in the lounge playing that on Friday. I can see anyone coming up the garden path from there. If no Mario it'll be Wind Waker.

The downstairs loo is adjacent to the front door, so I'm covered there.

The only other reason I need to leave the room is to go to the kitchen, but I plan to leave the cat on sentry duty during those times.

I couldn't change my delivery address with Shopto to my work rather than home address as I hadn't completed two orders with them. I'll be stuck at work all day on Friday, so unless they hand it into the old biddy next door I'll not get it until I can go collect from the depot.
