PlayStation 4 Console Thread

Word of warning: changing your billing address does not automatically change your delivery address. A mate of mine at work just got an Xbox One and games delivered to him at home. He didn't order one. But he did just move house last week, so whoever lived there before him must be wondering where the hell their shiny new console is. Luckily he did the right thing at took it back to post office

Alright I've got another question about the US PSN Store: we've established that you can't use UK based debit/ credit cards to add funds, but does Paypal work? Trying to simplify things here, having to buy vouchers from Amazon.com in units of $10 $20 or $50 shall be a last resort.

If I have money in paypal I usually just add PSN credit to my US account on the webstore via paypal. But it sometimes works out cheaper to get an instant code from Play-Asia.

The app is garbage anyway, it's basically just a front end for links to pages on the website.

Nope, it isn't.

The "what's new" section is in-app, the friends section is in-app, the settings section is in-app, the trophies section is in-app, the profile section is in-app. All the notifications are in-app. Whenever there's a video or a screenshot shared, they display in-app. The store button redirects to the mobile version of the SEN store, which works fine. Because why have two front-ends for the same store on the same device?

When compared to the Steam app it's poor but for a first stab it is ok for now. I am sure it will be improved over time.
