Does the PS+ get discounted anywhere regularly? I read that theres a free trial for a couple of weeks included with the PS4 so no immediate rush but anything saved is a good thing!

There's demos straight off, the android app is a bit clunky but I can only see one for NBA Live 14.

Alright I've got another question about the US PSN Store: we've established that you can't use UK based debit/ credit cards to add funds, but does Paypal work? Trying to simplify things here, having to buy vouchers from Amazon.com in units of $10 $20 or $50 shall be a last resort.
