To call EA a mega-corp would be to vastly oversell how big EA is. And to call EA evil is to underestimate vastly how evil many large corporations actually are. In the grand scheme of things EA are like a friendly mom & pop video store compared to someone like BP.

I apparently received an email from Shopto on the 18th, it was an order receipt with an ID number and said it will be delivered Friday by DPD. Was that my confirmation and I missed it?! I've spent all weekend watching people get DPD tracking numbers and panicking, and i had mine all along :doh:

Can I get excited now?

How many are still waiting on this dpd tracking number email from shopto now then? I got the account charge email on the 17th and then nothing since. I preordered in February as well.

I paid four weeks before the date on the order receipt, so I don't know why it took so long - that's why I thought it was my conformation. Now I'm not so sure :(

Just checked, my order is still on 'Processing'. God damn it Shopto, put me out of my misery already!

As you are probably aware we are currently processing PlayStation 4 pre-orders.

As you might expect with such a major release like this our customer service department are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and tickets, so we thank you for your patience and understanding while we answer all queries as quickly as possible.

We are processing and dispatching a huge quantity of pre-orders and so customers will receive dispatch notifications and tracking numbers at different times. If you have not yet received your tracking information please do not worry, you will receive it in due course.

All PlayStation 4 pre-orders are being dispatched on Thursday for delivery on Friday's official release date (UK mainland).

Yeah still waiting for mine as well. They've taken the payment for my Megabundle and I had the email saying it would be with me Friday with DPD but no tracking number yet. I had my Xbone email last weekend, if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow I'll be getting in contact.

Man alive. Some of you people are gonna have heart attacks before the week is out.

What are you going to say to them when you call and they say that it will be dispatched on Thursday and you will receive your tracking number before then? :D

I have sympathy though. Every time the email pings on my phone I'm checking.

My relatively big Tesco doesn't have the xbone in... At all.

Anecdotal, but I've seen the allocations for one supermarket and they're getting six times more PS4s than they got Xbox Ones. Not sure if this means there's way more stock of the PS4 available or just coincidence, but it might be worth a shot to look in your nearest (big) supermarket.

I guess i'm reading this bit wrong but, ALL pre-orders are being dispatched Thursday??

Even super late pre-orderers like myself?

I've seen a few people complain about the digital prices.

Really, what were you expecting?

This is why people have been so opposed to the "digital only" future from the beginning.

I'm so glad we still have physical disks in this gen.

To be fair, it's hardly that way on Steam.
