For those buying a PS4, or a Xbone for that matter, how many of you have actually played one yet?

Not me, and I've been purposefully avoiding any where that may have a demo pod for the last few weeks.

I want my first experience of the PS4 on my own machine on Friday.

One more question about the US PSN store: I've got PS+ on my UK account - if I was to download, for example, BF4 with my US account would I still be able to play online with my UK profile?

Yes, as long as both accounts are on the system it should be fine.

That's probably something we can't know 100% until the console's out here, really, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

I'm conflicted to be honest. I think I've kept my pre-order simply because my wife is buying the machine as an xmas/birthday present for me. Resogun aside, there isn't anything I really want to play at the moment. Not into sports games, not much of a fan of driving stuff either (apart from Burnout type things) and I've not been that impressed by Killzone (though it looks gorgeous). But do I stick with it primarily so I have one, and that I'm in for the long haul? (which surely everyone is?)

You're nuts. Are you seriously only interested in the launch titles of a console? Were you planning on playing it for a week and then selling it?

The existence of a 'pretty good' Killer Instinct game is a goddamn miracle if you look at the two previous games. The chance of somebody else producing a brilliant Wipeout game is a lot higher you pessimist

There were rumours that PS4 WipEout was pretty far into development when they closed. Would have made the launch lineup look a lot more attractive.

Gah that mega pack is sold out everywhere . Will get the base killzone pack from shop to. I can't imagine the camera is going to be that useful and i dont have any friends. I just don't like missing bargains.
