Anyone still looking for a deal, Killzone or AC:IV pack on 24Studio with 10% off and free p&p using code 047. 7% off through Qudico for new customers too, so it works out at £322 in total.

This deal persuaded me into attempting a purchase but sadly it seems they're out of the AC4 packs - I can't add one to my basket at least - and I'm not all that interested in KZ. Thanks anyway.

Corrinne Yu is widely regarded as one of the best progammers in the industry, a female Carmack of sorts. She was the main reason Halo 4 looked as good as it did, so it makes you wonder what she can achieve at Naughty Dog. And with the work she did on the space shutlle program at Rockwell International and ND's recent NASA visit, a ND space game might become a reality. Would be great.

My ps4 Assassins Creed 4 skull edition turned up today. It's a hefty box. Can't wait to play it - should show off the ps4 very nicely and is a cracking game by all accounts. I've just started AS3 on ps3. My first Assassins Creed game - only really playing due to it being free on psplus. It was psplus that got me back onto sony consoles after xbox. Sony's marketing has been superb over the past couple of years with plus and its worked a treat with me.

Tell you what. I just had a thought.

How do they deal with security for that lot? I assume they have a guard or 2 at night but those guys aren't going to take a bullet to protect my package.

If people know that lot are in their warehouse surely an organised crime raid would be a possibility. Imagine that apologetic email on Friday morning. Go on. IMAGINE IT.

Hah! Tell me about it. :)

I had to cancel my day one order after being unexpectedly dropped in the fiscal mire. I've learned this week that I WILL now be able to afford one on Friday and have been informed that the local indie will be keeping some back for walk-ins, but there remains that uncertainty. I'll be loitering (and freezing) outside before they open but there's going to be the fear of a lower than expected shipment until I have it in hand...
