I figured my plan was too good to be true..

And theres no way that I would want to be putting a dirty PS3 disc into my lovely PS4 every time I wanted to play. It would be a terrible thing. Like the way they force feed geese to make Foie Gras.

I guess going digital only prevents you needing a disc in and i do like not having to put the BF3 disc in the machine but i guess its no different than having to put a ps4 disc in - hopefully it does a quick verification spin of the ps3 disc and then its all off the hdd so quieter and potentially faster!?

So amazon randomly gave me a 44 quid next gen coupon. Did anyone else? I ordered bf4 for 3 quid!!

How's this supposed to work? I got £22, but doing what they say (adding NFS Rivals or Battlefield) to my basket and then going to the checkout doesn't seem to actually apply the code!

In my case it was because I bought FIFA 14 for the PS4 through them. Think it might be an EA thing as all the games where it applies seem to be theirs (Battlefield, FIFA, Need For Speed).

It's pretty much buy 2 get 1 free if they are offering £22 per game bought.

I wouldn't risk buying a 2nd hand copy as the games come with a code you need to input to get the game upgrade. You are right though, if you can source a cheaper copy of any of the selected games it could work out a lot better.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sony must want it on there. Netflix definitely do. It might not be ready for launch but soon after if not.

So what the hell is this Amazon offer then? I have the console, Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed ordered with them. Don't I get anything?

I got it when my copy of FIFA dispatched yesterday.

I'm beginning to think it was sent in error though - even though they claim the amount has been automatically added to my account as a promotional code it doesn't seem to actually work, and the offer itself seems to be based on trade-in which I definitely didn't do!
