They should definitely be more lenient around console launches though.

Zelda wind waker was released on my birthday. I had preordered at my local indie and took the 1/2 day off work to play it. The only speeding ticket I ever got was driving home that day with the new game sitting in the passenger seat.

I think there should be more leniency given those circumstances.

Well exactly. A week before launch. I was only 8mph over a 50mph limit. Should have said "look you were speeding but we understand you have a PS4 preordered so we're just gonna give you a warning. Enjoy Resogun!"

Err, what the fuck?! Having billed me on Monday for the PS4 and Killzone without any warning, I have now just received an email from them stating that my card has been refunded for the exact same amount.

Unless they are planning on sending me the PS4 for free I'm starting to worry that they are making a bit of a hash of this. Anyone else had a similar email? :unsure:

You'll be rebelled nearer the time I would think, but contact customer services if you are concerned.

Oh right, I must have missed that! The weird thing is the site doesn't list an existing order or pre-order now. Have raised a ticket just in case.

So amazon randomly gave me a 44 quid next gen coupon. Did anyone else? I ordered bf4 for 3 quid!!

Yep me too. Mentioned this earlier but still not quite sure why I got it. Ordered my console and two games with them, and coupon came once the games dispatched today.

Bollocks, I've fucked it up. Wanted to edit my listing to include NFS:Rivals and ended up with a whole new listing some I'm in twice. Can some clever person who knows what they are doing delete my first entry which is around number 48? Sorry.

So peeps this may have been mentioned already...

I am holding off on a PS4 so ordered BF4 PS3 today - some site has it for £30, i then plan to buy the PS4 update for £9.99 so when i get my PS4 around xmas time i will have it - £40 for the game digitally seems a bargain.

So it got me thinking, is it not cheaper with all the games in this kinda offer to buy the ps3 game, pay the upgrade fee and get the ps4 download. You can then sell the PS3 game once you have activated the PS4 game - it needs the ps3 disc once as i understand it??

Have i missed something silly like you need to always have the ps3 disc to play the ps4 game?

BF4 is going for £25 on ebay second hand, £15 for the ps4 game digitally if my plan works? Other games in the deal that are not so cheap new on ps3 will still work out silly cheap!

I wouldn't risk buying a 2nd hand copy as the games come with a code you need to input to get the game upgrade. You are right though, if you can source a cheaper copy of any of the selected games it could work out a lot better.

Actually it won't work Benshi and Mike are right, you always need the PS3 disk.

And theres no way that I would want to be putting a dirty PS3 disc into my lovely PS4 every time I wanted to play. It would be a terrible thing. Like the way they force feed geese to make Foie Gras.

ONE WEEK TO GO.

It's crazy how I am spending more time reading up on Next Gen stuff these last 2 weeks than I have spent playing games. I just want to get my hands on it so bad. And I KNOW that after 24 hours I will have a tinge of disappointment. Not because it's not good but because the actual product and the games can never match the excitement and the buildup.
