I'm still undecided to be honest. I'm getting FIFA for sure, and Killzone if I get a bundle. But Battlefield 4 looks so broken that I might swerve it till the new year.

I wasn't planning to but it look like I'll be giving AC4 a go considering all the great reviews it's got.

Battlefield will be sorted sooner rather than later I'm sure. Not sure if its related but BF4 on the PC has been fine for me this last week so if its not sorted now its nearly there.

Also, I started AC4 last night on the PC and it looks like it might be a great game, slightly put off by the size and the massive amount of things I can seem to do but early indications are that its going to be good. More like Brotherhood if you ever played that?

I'm getting two sports games and one of them isn't soccer (lol). Didn't think that would ever happen!

Just went to my local HMV regarding my PS4 pre-order as I have heard nothing since I put my deposit down in June.
They were going to be calling everything that had ordered one with them this afternoon [strange timing] and I was top of the list as I was the first one. Im guaranteed the hardware, they had a few bundle deals but Im only going to get the console with them. I have ordered Killzone through Amazon as I have vouchers and it wasn't worth getting the bundle with HMV.

I queried how many they are being allocated and numbers pre-ordered for the PS4 and XboxOne, they advised just for their store it was:
PS4 - 12 consoles allocated and 19 pre-orders
XboxOne - didn't say how many allocated to them but only 4 pre-ordered

Killzone, Resogun and (hopefully patched) BF4 for me next Friday.

And same day I'm also taking delivery of a 42W653 bravia.

Day off work. Cannot. Fucking. Wait.

Edit: just added ACIV. Because why the hell not?!

NFS? Plenty of people saying it's the only must-have game at launch.

DTS, Inc. has revealed another extra surprise for the PlayStation 4, namely the DTS-HD Master Audio|7.1 decoder.

“By featuring DTS’ new DTS-HD Master Audio|7.1 technology, PS4 owners will be able to enjoy the same high-definition 7.1 surround sound experience received on Blu-ray from streaming and VOD services,” said DTS Executive Vice President and COO Brian Towne.

The new decoder supports streamed and downloaded content featuring DTS-HD-encoded audio tracks, as well as optical disc media with soundtracks produced in all DTS formats including DTS-HD Master Audio.

Never got offered the mega pack from shopto and they've taken the money for my mega pack. The sensible part of me says I should cancel that and wait for the 'not-for-launch-but-before-chirstmas' amazon preorder for the mega pack that I have and the 'OMGITSAFUCKINGCONSOLELAUNCHHYPPPPPPE' part of me says I need to suck up the extra £80 to get an extra controller and camera separately. Still can't believe Shopto are charging more than GAME ffs!

I probably have until tuesday or wednesday to see if amazon gives an estimated delivery date and get the money back from shopto, right?

That could be all kinds of brilliant with some twitch streaming. Watching how others play their holes, looking for new techniques, live tournaments, etc.

Fingers crossed - I'd even import a PS4 copy of Minna no Golf if there was going to be the usual delay in releasing it over here.

If it's more than say...2 months from Jap release to Western, I'd defo import.

When will we get news on the Jap launch? I'm excited now!!
