I'd ask Amazon support. I changed my Xbone delivery address on Monday and the confirmation of launch delivery disappeared. Some were saying that it puts you back to the queue. It came back today, but it was a Day One model. They couldn't just allocate the unit to someone else.

After sitting on the fence for ages I decided to cancel my shopto preorder a couple of weeks back because I couldn't afford it and didn't want to get rinsed on a finance agreement. I did a 180 this morning and managed to preorder one for launch with 0% finance from the Sony store. Then half an hour later the guy calls me back in a panic saying his manager had actually sold the last launch one yesterday but I'm guaranteed one before Christmas. Oh well; that'll do!

Apparently there are still some Sony stores getting dribs and drabs of launch day allocation, so call around if you're still looking.

seems i made the right choice, not impressed with that xbox one attall, seems a bit half cooked for launch.

I feel exactly the opposite.

No regrets at all about cancelling the PS4 as, even after the US launch, I have seen nothing on the system that would justify the purchase. Whereas I'm still really looking forward to several Xbox One games very much and even playing with the UI via kinect, for better or for worse...

All that aside, Mario 3D World still looks the best release this side of Christmas...

Amazon just despatched FIFA and AC for me and sent me two emails saying that I now qualify for £22 credit (on each item) towards my next ps4 game. So I've cancelled my BF preorder, then immediately re ordered and sure enough Amazon applied £44 discount on it automatically.

Well happy.

Ooh I hope they give me some credit too, my AC is preparing for dispatch although I don't know why I'm getting excited since I can't play it for A week.

yeah, my AC4 collectors edition (£48) is "Dispatching now"

no, you're alright... here's hoping for £22 in credit, then I can cancel MY BF4 order, etc...

The one menu's and do everything approach looks like windows 8 to me, I fucking hate windows 8 probably more than goats cheese.

I agree with everything he says except his criticism of the PS3's UI which I thought was great.

Oh no I think I've messed up. I found PS4+Killzone on Asda for £385 so I've ordered that. Went to cancel my Sainsburys order because I know I saw the cancel option but it just goes from cancel to pending. So I dunno if it's gonna cancel.


My other worry is that will cancel and my Asda order will come back with "oh sorry no more day one stock".


AAeeeeeee.

But it also means I might have two of them for launch so I'll let you all know if that's the case.
