OK. Following the NFS reviews and impressions, I've finally placed my pre-orders for some games. I'm getting Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Need for Speed Rivals and Battlefield 4. Will see how my money situation is before thinking about Killzone (eye candyyyyyy), as I also need to afford a second Dual Shock 4 and my girlf wants Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Expensive month! Oh, and of course, my Wii U will cry out for Super Mario 3D World. Thank God it's my birthday next week, I'm hoping to get some vouchers!

Hot Pursuit is the best arcade racer of this generation by an absolutely huge margin. The game was digital crack.

For MP goodness Blur :( > Hot Pursuit > Split Second

Autolog however did make the SP really fun since you were constantly competing with friends. I did like Driver SF as well but didn't go back to it once I finished the story whereas Blur/NFS HP I played to death.

I thought Banderas was a bit fucked because he had loads of his money in with Madoff? Might have totally imagined it though.

Either way, was just a bit of a silly idea, why is everyone so bloody po faced at the moment?

A bit, yeah, down to his last $30m. I agree that it was a silly idea, should I have not said anything about that?

My Amazon account, credit card, space under the telly and body are all ready. I have never been so ready. Give it to me now, all of it.

I'm doing the same this weekend, transferring money into my account ready and also cleaning my TV stand and making some room along with some cable tidying as well as setting my new Bose surround sound up all in preparation for the PS4 coming.

Exciting isn't it? :)

Still need to decide on what bloody games I'm getting though.

Just picked up my pre-ordered PS4 from EB games (Canada), no crazyness at all. Straight in and out with no waiting. Couldn't wait to check out the pad, feels great. Main plus really seems to be the weight. Just feels right. Purchased Battlefield in the end, a decision I was fighting with until the very end. Can't wait to set it up tonight.

Just played on a demopod! Pad is absolutely lovely. Crap selection of games sadly. Knack demo made the whole game look as pointless as the review scores suggest. FIFA was as bafflingly incomprehensible to me as all modern sports games, but looked nice in what I assume was 1080p. Octodad made me belly laugh multiple times.

Looks like there is plenty of stock here too, literally every Walmart in a 20 mile radius of Denver has consoles available off the shelf :)

I cancelled my preorder thinking I wouldn't be that bothered, but who am I kidding? Totally picking one up after work now.

I'm more excited for the PSN and indie content right now.. Missed the likes of Sound Shapes on PS 3 so I think that will be my $10 PSN credit purchase. Thanks Sony!

The Octodad trailer looks bonkers, and I'm hoping Journey gets updated ASAP ( yes I know, I'll hand in my gamer card at the door).

Woohoo just prepaid for my shopto order, completely caught up in the hype train now. To the guy who was posting DPD updates (sorry it was several pages back) in what format were you receiving these updates?

Roll on the 29th!

BF4 and Killzone only for me to begin with, and resogun of course.

Just swapped my standalone console for the Killzone and Need for Speed bundle.

A perfect score from Jaz Rignall signed, sealed and delivered the deal.

So fucking excited now. Gonna book the day off once I know the delivery date and blast Lou Reed perfect day when i'm unboxing it, just like the twat i am.
