For anyone doing day 1 hard drive upgrades, it looks like an incredibly simple operation

Chad I'm with you bro,2 weeks is way to long... Im glad need for speed is looking good.
Tbh there are so many games I'm looking forward to playing I'm going to be spoilt for choice.

So many games, so much time to wait (two fuggin weeks, my god).

Jaz Rignall? Seriously? Why hasn't anyone sane reviewed it?

Ok just spent 15 mins reading the various neogaf threads, the main issue seems to be connecting to PSN (Network overload), a couple of users shouting about issues with machines not working but nothing major. Due the PSN network issues best way to update firmware seems to be via USB (http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/268352-playstation-4-launches-on-29112013-l349-info-in-1st-post-teamsony/?p=9581237)

Launch games best to avoid Knack & Need 4 Speed getting quite a bit of love.

Can't wait getting excited now !!

But the reviews you posted up are all very highly positive, what am I missing?

Such a fucking odd meme, I love it though, you get the impression from their twitter accounts and the like that the Sony guys actually think it's funny rather than just pandering to GAF (and hey, even if they are pandering to GAF, that still shows they have an ear to the ground).

Assassins Creed and Need for Speed seem to be the best games. I'll get Killzone first though, need some kind of exclusive or it'll just feel like I have a new graphics card.

Surely Resogun ticks all the - exclusive and shiny boxes as well

I'm tempted to get no physical games and just revel in PS+ with Resogun and whatever else comes along.

In fact I'd guess that we'll see pretty much all the launch titles on Instant Game Library in the next year.

I love now.

I'd expect Knack to be the 1st launch title to appear on IGC so don't get too excited :) obviously once they work through the announced indie titles that PS+ are giving out. There's also the driveclub PS+ edition to look forward to :) .

I am however trying to keep myself restrained at launch because as the date creeps closer I'm already thinking of clicking buy on AC4, Marvel Lego and Fifa to add to my current list but since I know from experience they'll be copies floating around on the forum by Xmas.

29th can't come soon enough :)
