What's the opinion on Amazon.co.uk best sellers charts? Do you think they're a good barometer of sales? Because this is the state of the best sellers in PC & Video Games:http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=sr_bs_1

PS4 is at No.1 with Xbox One at No.11 I thought Xbox would be much higher than that, I can't turn the TV on without seeing an advert for it.

Dunno but the public introduction of those bundles has upped the ante. PS4 now at 1,2 and 5 on the Amazon chart.

Seems to be a worrying amount of hardware issues being reported.

It's simply too early to tell. ANY fault is going to be publicised all over the internet quicker than lighting due to the type of early recipients and their media savy. These gets re-tweeted / re-posted 1000's of times making it hard to see where or what or how common the problems are.

As it is it's almost impossible to say how bad or generally insignificant the problem is. I say it's certainly worth keeping an eye on but there's nothing to worry me yet. And I have a pre order.

The microscope is really getting focused now.

For $400, you're getting a speedy, powerful little PC with an extremely friendly user interface -- and it doesn't look like a PC, which is a nice bonus. We may not review game consoles every day, but we know a good one when we see it. This is just the beginning with PlayStation 4, and it's a hell of a start.

Add in that this is next-day delivery when it stated up to five days, I feel like I'm some kind of king getting the royal treatment here. Where have these couriers been all my life?

Nope,

Despite being a marquee title from Sony's Japan Studio, led by PS4 system architect Cerny no less, Knack is a bland, lifeless 3D platformer -- a much prettier, but nowhere near as fun facsimile of classic games like Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot. Unlike Killzone, Knack can't get by on looks -- its plastic characters and charmless story are only acceptable in contrast to the repetitive and frustrating gameplay. A lot of kids are going to get Knack this holiday. That is a tremendous shame.

Ok just spent 15 mins reading the various neogaf threads, the main issue seems to be connecting to PSN (Network overload), a couple of users shouting about issues with machines not working but nothing major. Due the PSN network issues best way to update firmware seems to be via USB (http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/268352-playstation-4-launches-on-29112013-l349-info-in-1st-post-teamsony/?p=9581237)

Launch games best to avoid Knack.

But Need 4 Speed getting quite a bit of love.

Can't wait getting excited now !!

This console launch is amazing, after 30 years I've finally been able to replicate how I used to feel as a kid on Xmas eve, just insanely excited and obsessed at the prospect of the new toy.

It's going to be an terribly long fortnight.

This. I was all it'll be good to hear the thoughts from our friends over the pond but I've heard them now and I want my PS4 NOW!

2 bloody weeks man.
