I just remember it not working and then thought I'd have heard about it somewhere along the way but I suppose there was too many posts about discovering power options I must have missed it and not bothered trying again. I've only got one 3D blu-ray I got from work as it is so I've not been seething at Sony for the past two years or anything :D

For what has been shown of the game, it looks like it'll get boring quickly. I'm not sure a team of 15 can match the expectations of people waiting for this. Will be interesting to see how it's received after the witness got grief at half the price.

It's certainly an exciting time for economists. At full price, I imagine there'll be a physical release, which at least means the curious but reserved will have the option of trading it in. I've really been looking forward to NMS, but at that price I'm probably going to wait to read a few reviews and reactions. Or am I? It's not really a huge surprise at this stage, is it?

Heavy Rain download - £25 quid, play tonight

Heavy Raind/Beyond Two Souls disc - £30 here tomorrow (bundle is 35 quid on PSN)

Edit - Haha. Buy BTS separately for £25 on PSN. Then you can get HR for £7. Cheaper than the bundle. That's silly.

Has anyone who has the Sony PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 experienced the problem of them giving off a constant high-pitched whine? I'm fairly certain it wasn't there when I first got the (for Christmas) but they're basically unusable now.

 

I thought that was just the Wife!

My gold headset broke ABOVE the hinges, despite handling them with kid gloves. They're awesome, but Sony can fuck right off if they think I'm gonna give them my money again. Looking into ordinary stereo headset alternatives now - with Bluetooth aptX support - any suggestions from the rllmuk hivemind?

Missed the Darius offer (28 quid down from 50) because I was umming and aahing, but its still listed in the PSPLUS prices discount section, at 50 quid. Annoying, but I imagine it'll come down again - can't be too many people paying 50 squids (ho ho) for it.

Odd day, hard day. Lots of student problems and despite fixes where able still feel like sometimes I'm trying to plug a leaky boat.

 

walking home, buying a PS4 online when back. Unless someone says you utter idiot the Tesco White, 500g, Last of Us and COD3 for £290 looks best value for machine and near future trade ins (want Witcher, Bloodborne, MGS5, Tearaway and so on more). 

 

But still. Tesco. 

 

30 min walk. Clear head time but the dream of Dreams, Orpheus and VR art are ahead of me. Console gets bought unless someone suggests better online shop. 

 

Expect £100 price drop tomorrow.

Looks like they've screwed up and made the upgrade pricing available to everybody regardless of whether they own it on another format.

Now "Not available for purchase" because I don't own the PS3 edition. Though I still seem to own the earlier purchase at least.

White is the old chassis model, you dont want it.

You could get it if you really wanted, but I had an old model die on me, my new model has a much nicer finish and buttons (although it gets just as hot, that hasnt really changed). The new ones say CUH-1200 on the box.
