Looks like new sale items are going up, including Fat Princess Adventures, Divinity: Original Sin and Bloodborne: GOTY (and the separate Old Hunters DLC) at 50% off. From my wishlist, PS3 games God Hand (PS2 classics) is £2, Demon's Souls is £4 and Ico and Shadow of the Colossus is £6.40.

Is there any way to see the current deals and offers on PSN other than waiting for them to post up something on the EU blog? There used to be a section of the store that listed all Price Drops but they axed it.

Edit - Never mind, remembered this exists

https://psprices.com/region-gb/index

They don't even seem to bother with threads on the blog and yesterday they didn't even include the prices on the store update.

Pretty diabolical.

I've just seen gospvg mention Wasteland 2 at £13.99. It is a great price and something I would have overlooked if it wasn't for websites like this & Hotukdeals. Shameful!

God Hand for £2 is the deal of the millennium. Sorely tempted to trade in and go digital with Bloodborne, as I haven't bought the DLC yet.

I have bought the DLC and I still did this. £25 credit for £22 on CDKeys, the used disc version is going for about that online so it's worth it purely for the convenience really. More than happy to put extra cash in From's pocket too.

I seem to have fixed my constantly ejecting discs problem by inadvertently breaking the eject button. All I did was rip out the rubber stand underneath with pliers. Eject button does nothing when I tap it now, though.

A pox on capacitive buttons and all devices that use them.

Tempted by both Wastleland 2 and Divinity Original Sin, however I currently playing The Witcher 3 and Diablo 3. No way will I be able to get through all four before the next RPGs hit.

I got Divinity Original Sin over Christmas thinking I'd dip into it now and again whist I finish Fallout 4, Witcher 3 & MGS. I was wrong. I've not played another game since I bought it, and I play it pretty much every night. Highly recommended.

Grabbed the complete Tales From The Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us for under £15 in the Jan Sale. After playing Life is Strange, I wanted more of the same kind of episodic, plot driven gaming. Is Everyone's Gone to The Rapture in the same vein?

Don't know about EGttR but Game of Thrones by Telltale is very good.

Not at all. It's more like Gone Home or Dear Esther.

But still absolutely essential.

I really should pull the trigger huh? Dammit too many good RPGs these days.

I've seen a lot of people say Wasteland 2 feels like a Fallout game, the original style Fallout, is that accurate? I loved the first two but could not get into Fallout 3 at all.

Wasteland 2 is a lot like the original Fallouts and a very very good game IMHO. Lots of quite 'big' changes to the world, choices that actually make a noticeable difference to factions and towns etc and quite a few ways of doing missions and things (although it still involves more combat generally than being able to talk your way out of stuff). It's arguably a better RPG than Fallout4 I'd say. Way more old school but a lot more of the role playing side of things.

On another note, only just started Everybody's Gone to the Rapture last night and I really like it. It is like 'spooky Archers : the game' but it has a great score, good VO work, looks nice and a good relaxed pace. Due to which, when some of the VO stuff starts up as I wandered about, made me jump more than normal "scares" in a lot of horror games, which is odd. Bring on more of these walking sims and bollocks to anyone that gets their knickers in a twist about things like this not being a 'game'.

Hi

I'm going to be purchasing a PS4 soon for SFV. Is there a particular machine/model I should go out my way to get over the other? I can't remember which one I was told to avoid.

Would like a white console if possible.

Thanks

Jassi

Cheers SeanR!

Ah, at least it has the game bundled with it. Japanese version has some funky faceplates and a special outer sleeve and that's it.

So are the new 1tb machines the ones to get or is there a reason to buy an older model\bundle? Just noting Stu's post above about the problems with some models having mechanical eject buttons? Anything else which is better\worse on newer and older models that I should think about before taking the plunge?

Why did no one tell me Parappa 2 was out?!?! :D:wub:

Shame there's no Parappa 1 or Um Jammer, but still!! Can't wait to show it to my kids, they will love it!

Are there any rumours of Gitarooman coming to the store?
