So I'm finally in - this deal swung it for me

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZG1TXV0?keywords=ps4&qid=1445632315&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

Ass Creed Syndicate, Watchdogs, Uncharted, 1TB machine and a PSTV

Sadly also means I've had to buy TTK again as the gits didn't make the upgrade cross compatible with the PS3 version (unlike the original game and TDB/HOW

Does anyone know if there is a way to delete installed games without deleting any update patches that the game may have had? I can't see any way to just delete game data and leave the patch data intact in case I wish to play that game again in the future. I had Advanced Warfare fully up to date, deleted it to clear some room, felt like having a blast on it again and it's having to download the latest patch and saying the version I have is 1.00. Looking through the deletion and storage options, I can't see any way to do it. I don't want to have to keep reinstalling multi Gb patches on games I remove and then reinstall.

Yeah, fit a bigger HDD!

(no idea really, doubt it - doesn't sound easy)

Yeah, I doubt it's possible. When I bought the digital version of Battlefield 4 in a sale, instead of just altering one line of code to flag that I now digitally owned the 64Gb of files already on the hard disk, it made me download and install the entire bastard lot again. <_<

Marvellous. I have no inclination to fit a bigger HDD, and I wait patiently for Sony to allow external drives for game storage just like you can on the Wii U and Xbox One.

Just buy a 2 TB external drive and swap it with the 500 GB one while you wait for that to happen. It's incredibly easy to do. Then you can use the original drive as an external one if/when Sony allow that feature. ;)

I upgraded the PS3 hard drive & that was pretty painless, I have been happy with the 500GB standard drive because I never have more than a few games at any one time. Currently installed Fifa, MGSV & Little Big Planet. Everything else is digital and only a couple of them are regularly played in Minecraft & Rocket League.

Currently I have 246GB free on the PS4.

Looks like Sony sent out a survey with these new feature ideas:

So it does look like they are listening. Unlike others, I'm actually not too unhappy with the current state of Sony's OS functionality, but that certainly includes a lot of nice-to-have missing features.

Where's the best place to buy US PSN credit codes nowadays? Haven't done it for ages. I assume it's still the same as before in that games bought on the US store can be used with a UK account, etc.?

I use Offgamers. I buy pretty much all my games from the US PSN store using credit from Offgamers.

I got my hands on a PS4 last week and I've been slowly working my way through a good chunk of games. I just finished Last of Us Remastered and thanks to my arch nemisis Nathan Wind on here I've got a copy of Destiny (18.5GB update, you wot mate?!). Other few games I've picked up have been:

Samurai Warriors 4

Dying Light

Bloodborne

Shadow Warrior (freebie thanks to a seller mixup)

I've went for Everybodies Gone to the Rapture and Life is Strange from the store. I've got a list of about 15 games I'm itching to play at home not to mention Fallout 4 due soon. Yet in the meantime all I really have of interest for my Xbox One is Halo 5. At first I always thought the X1 was the better choice but the PS4 games are just amazing so far and there's so many to choose from.

One the one hand I want to neg you, because it's you, but as you're digging the PS4 I'm unfortunately legally obliged not to.

Dying Light is lots of fun. If you like a slightly unusual, strategic third person shooter I'd recommend taking a look at Sniper Elite although you can get it cheaper on Steam. I double-dipped on it when it was on sale on the PSN store a few weeks ago. It's just as good as the PC version.

After around 600 hours on Destiny (plus all the other games) I've noticed a small tear in the rubber on one of my left stick pads. Is there a decent recommendation for stick top replacement?

I've used these and thought they were very good:

I've also tried these much cheaper ones too, and they've been ok (only used the concave ones though):

I'm trying to get the 20th Anniversary theme...

The following link doesn't work if I'm signed into the Playstation store using my UK account, but does if I'm not signed in at all... https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/themes/playstation-20th-anniversary-theme/cid=UP9000-CUSA01646_00-20THANNITHEME001

Is there anyway to get this theme?

That link did not work for me try this
