Yeah see I couldn't do that then cause I bought mine from a board member who'd ended up with 2. Ah well, maybe once the inevitable slim version arrives I might change it.

I have my machines in a unit where there isn't the greatest amount of air flow, so have £5 usb fans from Rymans plugged into them (PS4 & Xbox One). The Ps4 seemed to benefit greatly from this as it became much quieter.

Is the fan pointing at the console, or around the back just to circulate air in the cabinet?

The PS4 one is pointed at the back left quarter of the console, the thinking being the cool air goes in the machine and shifts the hot air away from the rear. It comes on when the machine comes on.

The bottom one plugged into the One I turn on from its own switch (on the rear of the fan itself) and put it on top of the One pointing directly down or on top of the 360, pointing directly down. This one I took the legs off so it is more portable.

Not true. For my sins, I brought it from Game, months later I realised the fan was loud and gave Sony UK a ring. Got through to a really nice bloke, told him my problem, he accepted the issue, posted it off and got a brand new console through the post a week after.

Although as I was chatting to the bloke and mentioned how long I had been gaming, he started talking about the Dreamcast and we both shared a fondness for Sonic Adventure... Maybe that was a code word for allowing non Sony brought consoles back in.

The live broadcasts thing isn't much cop. First, it insisted on showing only Driveclub, as that's what I had running in the background, but then all 14 "live" broadcasts had already ended. I mean, why list them in the tile if they're done? That's the first time I've ever used it, and just wanted to see someone doing something live.

After two years my controller has finally developed a problem. A stuck trigger. But L2, not the more common R2.

It did well for a launch controller, and the thumbsticks are still holding up, but Rocket League was just too much for it.
