Why you cry ?

Why you speak in silly baby voice?

Perhaps you have a drink or drugs problem. If not I'd urge you to seek help anyway because you're clearly unhappy.

I'm sorry to put it like that but it's better to tell someone the truth and make them cry than tell a lie and make them smile.

Why are you getting so upset that I have a low opinion of your plastic toy based on mediocre games and a lack of leadership and direction for the industry, that can only lead to a decline as the delays, indie game base on premium hardware and lack of quality overall ultimately damages the hobby we all enjoy.

Boozy is spot on. I never actually use my Xbone, but I'm glad I own it for all those amazing exclusives it might one day have.

I only play my ps4 all the time, but it's almost always nothing more than a good experience. Is this all there is? A load of really great games?

Sometimes I wonder why I bother having all this fun with this stupid plastic toy. What a joke.

Sony are the market leaders and they're not doing a very good job of it. I'd hope their playerbase shared this view and demanded they do better. Unfortunately you all seem perfectly happy with the current situation. For a machine who's supporters are constantly hoping for better you do like to defend them for being a bit rubbish just a tad over zealously.

I disagree. Pumping more and more money in AAA games isn't the way to go - from last generation to this we've seen a lot of studios close as the top end of gaming becomes ever smaller in titles for increasingly large amounts of investment. It's leading to stagnation, proliferation of season passes, day-one patches to meet marketing requirements and egregious in game currency models.

Sony have made attempts to revive the bottom end of the market and help smaller studios fill the middle-tier void. Mike Bithell was given resources to set-up a studio and made Volume, Dear Esther guys where given help by Santa Monica to make Everybody's Gone To The Rapture and so on. Sony are also trying to convince would-be mobile phone developers to make console games such as Roll7 with OlliOlli and the partnership with Devolver Digital which is allowing the really small teams to gain some exposure.

A mixture of all types of games, for all audiences, is the way to stimulate the market for today and the future. Selling lots of consoles in all markets is proof of this.

It's a shame all those PS4 owners aren't aware of the situation. There they are playing away at the games they've chosen, oblivious to the treachery involved.

If Sony carry on like this they'll sell even more consoles and, and, well it's just not right is it?
