Wiper will hate inFamous and The Order.

Well, going on the last comments about it I'd expect to dislike The Order, but I don't know about inFamous - I enjoy I good superpowered sandbox game: I enjoyed Prototype and the Just Cause games, and adored Crackdown (and, of course, Saints Row 2 and on), so even though the first Infamous didn't do much for me I'm willing to try it. And...

Btw Wiper Infamous First Light the standalone DLC for Second Son will be on your download list as it was a PS+ game last year. Give that a try :)

...that's fantastic, as it means I can try it without risk!

I would also have said Nidhogg and Towerfall, bit I assume you've got those on PC.

Actually, I don't! The one thing my PC doesn't really get used for is local multiplayer, so I never picked them up. I wasn't sure if they'd ever been on PS+, but if not I'll be sure to pick them up.

All you need is rocket league really and you get that free!

Im kinda with Wiper on TLOU, I have it on PS3 and PS4 and I can't get into it, Naughty dog need to spend some time on making the controls decent as they are so clunky I don't even get into the supposedly amazing story part - I will say its £7 via CDkeys and a US account so still worth a punt and maybe I will give it another go as I really want to experience it!

Well, thanks to MW_Jimmy I've been looking up Galax-Z and it looks fabulous, incorrect pronunciation of Z notwithstanding. I'll definitely have my eye on that when it comes out!

You will have to buy them even if they had been on PS+

I've been a PS+ since before the PS4 existed, and have 'bought' every single game on the service,* including the PS4 ones, when they were free. I have a rather large number of games in my library that I can't download or play at the moment, which will change next week.

*excepting a handful of games I had already played and disliked enough to not add them


Towerfall was on Plus at some point. Nidhogg wasn't. There's not much sandbox in inFamous, which is why I think you won't go for it. It's no Prototype.

I guess I will be buying Nidhogg, then! A shame about inFamous, but I'll still give the expandalone a try.

Outlast can fuck right off, brr! I can't even handle the source of my avatar these days, so I can't be expected to cope with a modern horror game!* Speaking of which, is Routine out yet? Just so I know if there's a proper sci-fi horror game out there for me to lust after and never, ever play.

Resogun I'm pretty sure was on PS+, I know absolutely nothing about Dead Nation aside from that it (presumably) involves zombies, which doesn't mean I'll dislike it but puts me off it, and Road Not Taken looked interesting to me when I saw it pop up on PS+, so I'll be giving it a try.

*unless it's the surprisingly unfrightening Amnesia, in which case it's fine.

So much for me getting £50 added to my wallet. It refuses to do so even on the bloody console. No idea why, just says "Funds can not be added to your wallet". No explanation.

Tried again on the site and now its changed to "Currently unable to add funds to your account. Please try again later."

Infamous isn't shit, not by any means. If you like Prototype you may well end up enjoying it too. I think the Infamous series is far superior.

Btw I'm not making out The Order is some masterpiece or anything but it will blow you way aesthetically. It's fucking stunning.

If you haven't tried it on PC I heartily recommend Axiom Verge. It's a superb Metroid clone. You will also get the vita version for free too when it eventually comes out.

I just played Journey for the first time in my life. It was... spiritual.

I don't have PS+ and yet I had five different companions on my journey. I was pretty sure that I would only have a solo game without PS+, I was quite surprised.

I get that message when I use my German PayPal account with my Dutch PSN account. Sounds like a security measure to me, and that is rich for/from Sony.

Tried buying Contrast through my PS4, and got an error code - E-82000171. Think this is something to do with the credit card not matching what they have on file. How this is the case however, when I've not changed anything is beyond me.

Knowing my luck it'll only get resolved once the Paypal deal's expired.

Maybe it's the PS4's way of trying to spare you from the experience of playing Contrast.

Its actually so I can buy TTK using the Paypal offer that's on at present, but it seems Sony have other ideas.

Edit: Double and triple checked credit card address and details, and its all correct. Still cant buy anything from the PS store, or add funds. No idea if this will even sort itself out, which is useful given the Paypal offer expires a week tomorrow.

Odd. It's all gone through for me now, including £10 refund from PayPal.

Now I'd better put that Hitman pre-order in before some rascal empties my wallet!

Hey you bozos, why didn't none of you tell me that there's a new(ish) Deception game for PS4? That's gone straight onto the 'to buy' list, even if half of it is the game I've already played on Vita.
