While the vistas and the combat seem similar, it's not a sequel to Xenoblade. Different story/world/characters means its a new game entirely. Looks incredible, though. Massive scale, enormous creatures that can be seen for miles. I loved Xenoblade. Although I only got about 80 hours into it (due to my WiiU going on the blink). The only thing that ties a FF game to its predecessors are Chocobos.This is more like the Tales series. Similar battle mechanics in each game but new stories and worlds. But each game title is different to distinguish it from what came before. Xenoblade Chronicles X sounds like a directors cut of the Wii game.
