Hehe, @Vorgot, I'd bet good money on the ending I think you're gonna get. And before you wonder, neither of those two decisions have any bearing on it.

I've been replaying this, it really is the game of this generation for singleplayer isn't it? I'm onto the Blood & Wine dlc, which is fantastic (sky still looks stupid in the day though).

Yeah, I hear there is a pretty bad ending but have no idea how avoid/trigger it, as I'm avoiding all spoilers. I'm just along for the ride.....

It's not my game of the generation for single player, thats Persona 5 for me, but it's an astonishing accomplishment. Have spent ages wandering around and doing side quests, so I'm about to move the story on a bit now, not many quests left at my level, and no markers.

@Vorgot The outcome for Keira has no bearing on the ending.

  Hide contents

If she dies it just means she can't show up to help later, obviously, and it also adds an optional Novigrad quest you can do with Triss towards the end of the game.

That's cool, thanks. I wish I had done something different but thats the way the game goes. Good that decisions have some impact, same as in Mass Effect 2.

Ah, I thought I had made that clear in my post, my apologies if I made you believe your decision would have dire consequences. As Fox has said, it won't. :)

You were clear as day, I think Fox was just making sure I got it!

I fire this up every now and again, and just wander around.  I played the game without question marks so I could explore naturally, but post completion I've uncovered them so I can dip in and look for new content from time to time.

I always hope to stumble upon a new quest when I play, but tend to do a few monster nests then turn it off.  I figured there's not much content left otherwise.

Anyway, during tonight's revisit to the game I stumbled across a new village and found a new contract.  Brilliant. I ended up taking magic Mushrooms (part of the quest) and talking to Roach, which was exquisite :D Geralt lamenting her (him?!) for being able to cross the ocean when he whistles, whilst at other times so easily getting stuck on fences.  Amazing scenes!

I've been told about that quest several times, but have never come across it despite hundreds of hours of play.

Please tell me the name of the quest, and where. :)

Cool, yep when I get home I'll let you know.  I played a bit more this morning, found 2 more contracts and another full on side quest.  This game keeps on giving.  Just clocked over 200 hours, and that's on a single playthrough.

Same here, haven’t come across this quest even after 228 hours of play.

I really want to do another run through at some point.   I’ve still got quite a few points of interest marked in Skellige but didn’t follow them all up post ending as they all appeared to be sunken treasure.

edit: Oooohh! It's in Toussaint! For some reason I always thought it was in Velen.

Toussaint - it's odd that I've actually only been there once! All my previous run throughs were before that DLC had come out, so there's shed-loads there that I've still yet to do! That particular mission definitely being on I've missed. Lovely.

Really liking the Manticore armour with brown dye applied to the chest (colours the white sleeves). I did quite like the all black look, but the brown straps that form a big X on Geralt's chest looked too prominent ... too ... X-Men.

Actually managed to win Toussaint's Gwent tournament with that godawful Skellige deck! It's mostly luck, because if you get a shit hand you're fucked if your opponent has even an average hand. At least with Northern Realms and Nilfgaard you can likely salvage a poor starting hand.

Manticore Armour with white dye was what I ended up with on my recent playthrough. Aerondight + Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword for weapons.

Yeah, I'm rocking Aerondight right now. Great sword that you can stick with for several levels. Me steel sword is the one I got from the first round of the Gwent tournament.

I'll have a gander at white armour. Haven't come across that particular dye yet though. Green looks decent as well, but more Robin of Locksley than Geralt of Rivia. ;)

I wouldn't have switched to Manticore if the Grandmaster feline armour didn't have that silly hood. So I've got the mastercrafted Feline set on display in Corvo Bianco.

The 'white' one is on the right here, although it's not really white. I had different gloves though, can't remember what they're called but they were heavy armour and had a load of crit damage on them (I had the armour rune that makes everything classed as 'light' anyway, plus the Cat School Techniques skill).

The Pantone colour is ‘Witcher Poo Brown’ by the way.

Black or nothing as far as I’m concerned ;)

Admittedly, I play the game without upgrading my armour at all as I can’t see him in anything other than the original set, so what do I know ;)

Such a great, great quest. When Roach started talking I really thought it was just me suffering some kind of breakdown after too many hours playing the game.

Indeed.  Makes me wonder what other content I've missed, lurking there for me to discover after all this time.  After 200 hours.  Astonishing.

Enjoying the story of Blood & Wine a lot more this time around. And I've rinsed all the sidequests I could find. I forgot how funny...

Spoiler

...the Big Bad Wolf is in this. Hearing "Sod off!" in that Nilfgaard accent is hilarious.

And ... Blood & Wine all done. Got the really good ending this time, which I never managed before. Here, have some moody shots of Geralt...

What a fantastic game, with genuinely brilliant DLC.  What the fuck do I play now?

Errrm, I'm still going to take this with a pinch of salt but it seem's quite a few Asian stores have put up product listings recently for this on the Nintendo Switch.

If this is so, how the hell would they run this on the Switch? Surely it's nowhere near powerful enough? Would the downgrade to make it possible be to much that it wouldn't be worth it?
