Got the new audio book which has re inspired me to continue my mission to finish the game, and by also finishing the rest of the books, at least I now know all the characters and the back stories.

Just helped out Triss, and now she thinks shes in there, but sorry love, its Yennifer all day long.

I'm sorry for my harsh post, I shall edit it.

I know its been ages but I feel I've hardly scratched the surface of this game and seeing an ending almost revealed to me would of been frustrating, luckily I only briefly scanned over it and didnt see all the details.

I finished this game a couple of days ago (bought it near release but didn't have the time to do it justice until relatively recently).

I feel depressed that it's finished :(

What an experience.

Think I'll play some indie games, why even bother trying to fill that Witcher 3 shaped void with another aaa open world game..

Yes get the dlc, both could easily be stand alone Witcher games there that good.

Also for me you don’t get a proper ending until you have finished blood and wine dlc.

just finished my 2nd run through from start to the end of blood and wine yesterday - 77 hours of pure enrertsinemnent and that was only doing story missions - now to to all the side quests etc..

this is def my fav game ever.

@partious Both DLC expansions are absolutely essential. Get them NOW! Play Blood & Wine last, it acts as a real nice ending to Geralt's saga and the entire trilogy - and it's even better than the main game!

Apart from the sky. :coffee: Otherwise, yes. In fact, I'd argue Hearts of Stone has the best story of the lot, with a superb villain.

I finished this but never played the DLC, and I can see it's in the steam sale. You've all convinced me, time to dive back in!

Just finished Hearts of Stone.

My god, what a fantastic piece of DLC.

Gaunter O'Dimm is the best villain in a video game. Such a tour de force, particularly when I thought the Wild Hunt never really lived up to the premise.

This scene was a masterpiece:

I’m currently level 24 on first play through and throughly enjoying it, though I’m in Skellige at the minute and listening to people there speak is a constant reminder of how shit my own accent is.

It’s a great game and I simply can’t enough of gwent. Im always gutted when a trader doesn’t have the option to play it.
