Got offered the new 3DS as well. Received email at 10:16am.

Think I will wait for the XL version. May transfer my purchases to my sons 2DS and sell my current XL while it is still worth more.

Have registered things with club nintendo from time to time but nothing compared to deKay. Not surprised of the annoyance.

No email here either, and thats after checking all four five accounts I have used for various promotions etc, pissed right off, all I want are the sodding face plates.

Obviously, the sensible thing to do was to send those e-mails to the original 3DS ambassadors. As it is, it seems it all happened a bit random, and disrespectful towards the fans.

Here's what they had to say:

“The New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador offer is by email invitation only for selected Club Nintendo members in Europe only who fulfil a certain criteria, we are unable to disclose such business information, however we would like to reassure you that we are continually looking at different promotional offerings we can bring to consumers at various times throughout the year.

The terms and conditions for such promotional activities are individual to each promotion,but we will endeavour to bring you more promotional activities in the future, which we hope you will be able to take advantage of.”
