Nintendo 3DS

In other news, grabbed Weapon Shop and The Keep yesterday. My 3DS is by far my favourite gaming platform at the moment. So much good stuff to play from AAA to obscure titles.

I play on my 3DS every day, but all I play are the Streetpass games. Really need to finish off Battle so I can put it to bed and get on with some other games - I've Layton vs Wright at a 1/3 through, Blackgate incomplete, and Mario Golf unopened! Bloody Nintendo :hmm:

I think shirubagan means why aren't the XL buttons coloured like the original model rather than just having coloured letters on the buttons. I was wondering the same as I like the size of my XL at the moment but I am drawn to the coloured buttons of the original. I would have said to make the "XL" more adult, but they're obviously going for a nostalgia factor with the original so they might as well be the same.

I know that's an old XL! I was wondering why they're only releasing metallic blue and black when that white XL and existing colour schemes are clearly superior to both the 'New' options. My red XL is lovely. But that New 3DS looks bloody fantastic so I may downsize again.

Yup. I'd be very reluctant to downsize, which makes the fact that they seem determined to make the new XL plain and dull while giving the normal DS a makeover is just another incentive for me to ignore the new systems.

I thought you did, really.

Maybe Nintendo are banking on a bunch of people downsizing to get the buttons, then will release a special edition XL later...
