Nintendo 3DS

My new SD card arrived today. It's this one: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDXC/Lexar/Lexar-Professional-64GB-Class-10-UHS-1-400x-60MB_s-High-Speed-SDXC-Memory-Card which is supposedly twice as fast as my old one. Cost less than my old one did too, actually.

Following some guide I found on the internet, I formatted it to fat32, stuck it in my 3DS, initialised it, took it out, then copied all my backed up files to it (making sure to copy to the new random numbered folder). Stuck it in my 3DS and TA DAH!

Seems to be working fine. Stuff loads, stuff saves, and my streetpass hits and game data are all there. I hope it remains that way! It was nearly a very nasty disaster.

I was doing more research on this topic, and I found an article that walks though, step by step, how to re-format an SDXC card to enable it to be read by a 3DS/ 3DS XL. She does a good job explaining why SDXC cards usually don't work and how to fix it.

So, the Street Pass 'relays' right, where exactly are they? Are they connected to a certain wi-fi provider?

I think they are just The Cloud Hotspots in the UK.

I'm actually not a big fan, going into a wetherspoons means I get loads of street pass hits, but am I correct to assume it's random people from around the country that have also passed a relay point? If it were just people at that specific one then it'd be great, but I like the idea that the people I get in the plaza are people I've kinda run into. Street pass hits where I live were fairly occasional, but good fun when I got one. I'd pop out to grab some bits and it was fun to see the green light! Now it just means I've walked near to Gregg's on my travels.

They also need to up the capacity, 10 at one time is no where near enough now!

Well, I was lucky to get a backup. Hopefully all will be well.

Thank you for your thoughts at this difficult time.

Makes you appreciate cloud saves on the vita! Maybe one day from Nintendo? They are getting their shit together with the online stuff....

Makes me worry about losing stuff like animal crossing, but I'm too lazy to back stuff up every night!

Yeah the relay thing ruined it if you are in a major city. You can tell they aren't people who have been to the same place because if yoi are in Scotland, 99.9% of street passes are now people in England.

Glasgow used to be great for street passes, no longer, especially because there is free wifi all over the city.

So I started Attack of the Friday Monsters yesterday. It's pretty and everything but I'm not sure what's going on. Do you simply just travel to hint points on the map to advance the story and collect gems? And is the card game just rock, paper, scissors? What're the hint counters about where you have to swap cards and that?

BTW, Street Pass Mansion isn't very good is it? Seems practically and literally impossible to defeat the boss skeleton.

This game is broken for me. I have made it to the boss skeleton but my weapons are so weak they incurr next to no impact damage...

I have all available 'room blocks' filled and there appears to be no logical way of upgrading my weapons either.

It's a real shame as I play all of the other Streetpass games on a regular basis and whenever I pass this game in the hub I feel sad... :(

You need to time your counter attacks perfectly, but it sucks when he can take off 70+ HP and kill you pretty quickly.

Also are you

at floor 30 or 50?

Pretty much. Unless you're unlucky you'll just win every card game.
