On the last boss of Sp Mansion. The guy is a dick. Didn't know that about the tile placement Joffo and was wondering why I've not had any bronze, silver or gold chests yet.

Did anyone else pick up Super Little Acorns Turbo 3D? I bought it in the sale at Christmas and started it last night. Enjoyed it so much, I did year one all in one go. I think it's around £2 and just a fun little platformer/collect 'em up/speed run thing with ninja ropes.

Fire Emblem dropped through my letterbox last night.

Bloody nearly hit my head on the ceiling jumping with delight. Play it on normal right? With deaths on? Yes?

Deaths on undoubtedly - Fire Emblem is all about risking your team and making the hard decision on whether to go on without a much loved character or hit that reset button.

Difficulty mode - depends how many of them you've played before - normal is a tad easy if you take advantage of the levelling opportunities and you are used the AI's standard responses (which is pretty much identical to earlier games) - however hard is pretty tough from the get go - possibly a bit too punishingly so...

I went on a side mission that's too difficult for my team. No matter what I do, someone dies. I've reset and retried at least 20 times and haven't been back since.

I miss Fire Emblem, but I don't want my team to die.

Don't do the side mission then? You can always return when you've levelled the team up a bit more?

I just finished Fire Emblem today... Let people die. You can always recruit others. There are bonus characters from older games you can recruit as well... King Marth and Travant are killing machines. Also, if you StreetPass people, recruit the stronger ones as well. Story critical people don't die - they just retire and can't be used in battle.

Make sure you double up te weaker people, make use of rescue as well - and get a sniper and an assasin.

Let you're hefty guys take a baddy down to almost dead then get a lower level to kill it... Ensures maximum exp points.

Brilliant game

I can't exit the mission.

Load your last save and not the bookmark - that will be before you started the mission

Nobody dies - you're doing it wrong ;)

Well apart from bloody axe users and knights - cannon fodder

Still working on Lunatic classic mode. Everyone dies! Somehow scraped through the first 4-5 stages losing about 3 people along the way.Mainly as cannon fodder decoy kamikaze . Then its a grind fest on exponential growth... do a level ... more exponential growth etc. Just got married to Say'ri who's becoming a beast with the Galeforce move. Something I managed to get with Cordelia by accident on my first playthrough , but is pretty essential in Lunacy mode. Frederick and sumia both as generals about lvl 65 are pretty unstoppable, though magic users can still whittle them down fast. Just about to start chapter 19 and the enemies are starting to be lvl 70ish with modified weapons and often sneaky skills like vantage or counter. If I could criticise the game at all I think the lunatic in lunatic mode shouldnt refer to your willingness to grind enndlessly ,but rather be a more classic style of play from previous games where its tough but doable and with no real opportunity to level up outside the main levels. The first 4 levels really felt like that , before you have access to the outrealm gate. Maybe I'll change my mind in these last few chapters though.

If you reach level 20 and just want to grow your unit further, use a second seal and select the same class again. You will not gain any boost in stats but it'll reset to level 1 so you can level up again. Walhart joins at lvl 30 so use a second seal on him straight away.

Oh you can recruit Walhart before the final mission. Sort of. You'll see how.

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but Nintendo's online repairs website is mindbogglingly awful.

I had to go through the process of choosing my system and entering the serial number and describing the problem about four separate times, because every time I tried to set up a new repair, it told me it couldn't create the account because the email address is already in use.

So I tried to log into my account and it told me the password was incorrect. So I request a password reminder, which it sends me, and then I log into the "my account" part of the site.

But when I try to log in through the actual repair form, it still tells me the password is incorrect. So I refresh the page and do everything again. It still tells me the password is incorrect. So I can't go through with the process with this email because it says it's already in use and I can't log in with this email because it says the password is wrong, despite the fact that I've already logged into the site on a different page that the form doesn't seem to remember.

Someone in customer service was able to delete my account from the system (hmm, nice secure system there, tell them your email and they delete your account without confirmation!) and then I was able to proceed through the form, which appears to have set up a new account. The thing is, now the account details (name, address, etc.) are showing as blank, and when I go to the "edit details" page and submit the information, it tells me the email address is already in use! WHAT?! YES I KNOW! IT'S MINE! THIS IS MY ACCOUNT, I'M LOGGED INTO IT, IDIOTS!

And finally, when it tells me I've logged out, I click on the "account" tab and see that I'm still quite clearly logged in. Although it thinks my name is "null null null". It's not.

So, I can't actually log out of the site, and to make it worse it's now sent me a second password reset email but I've no idea whether it's correct because I can't actually log in. Er, out.

I mean, their customer service is pleasant enough, but fuck-a-doodle-doo, the website is awful. I await my postage label, presumably delivered in three weeks by carrier pigeon.

EDIT: Managed to log in and update details using a different browser, but still can't actually log out again. Literally cannot log out. Madness.

I got REALLY annoyed at the first downloadable bonus mission for Fire Emblem. Played through a couple of times, but lost someone each time and so had to restart. Finally, I get to the end guy with a full party, there is no way I;m losing this time, and then...

CRITICAL HIT ON CHROM! CHROM DIES.

I admit, it put me off the game somewhat. I haven't been back to it since then, partially because of anger but mostly because I've just got too much other stuff to play. I know that it is brilliant, and I know that if I ever get back into it I'll love every second, but that burned!
