I've wanted Hakuoki for ages but it was about £35 on Amazon. I found it in Grainger Games for £19.99 today so bought that for myself as a Christmas treat as I didn't get any games gifted to me this year. Limited edition too with the soundtrack CD.

Its an emulated rom isnt it - same as all ports in that it has edge things not seen on NES due to different res etc?

It plays exaclty as i recall it - mostly played without sound myself so not sure on that bit and i dont recall the save points - mostly played it on snes with only some retro play on nes original so i couldnt say anything for sure!!

So to add to my woes. Registered the 3dsxl. Then thought "ahh I'll register Pokemon and get my free mario". The pin code was under a sticker. Peeled it off and riiiiiiip half of it ripped the top

Surface of the paper off and it's completely unreadable. Emailed a pic to nintendo to see if I can get a replacement but not holding out much hope.

Did you get this sorted mate?

Any Etrian Odyssey vi players? Downloaded the demo. It didn't realise it had such a stingy 3 uses, and unwittingly squandered 2 of them. From what I saw seems fun(if punishing), but has had great reviews and I see the gaf thread is pretty brimming with praise. Just wondered if any 'muckers had owt to say on it.

I really enjoyed 3. I've downloaded the demo of 4 but haven't tried it yet. Apparently it's very, very similar to 3 though, so I'm not sure if I'll pick it up (if you haven't played any of them before though, they are great).

Yes, stingiest demo uses ever, but a very long demo if you just keep it in sleep mode between plays ,and play nothing else. Or just buy the game as its out now. It was a real problem when the game wasnt actually out yet! I'm up to what I think must be the final area but taking a break to play zelda. Its very similar to the first game, though I dont think I've done half the grinding that I did in the first.

Cheers for the thoughts. Found a second hand copy today so took the plunge. Loving what I've seen after a couple of hours. Even find the elevator Muzak style soundtrack charming. It's nerdy in a '95%-of-the-player-base-have-never-known-a-woman's-touch' kind of a way, but that's the joy of an old school dungeon crawler! Brings back very fond memories of Dungeon Master.

How so? Surely streetpass is highly subjective as to whether you live in a built up area or not? Not really ruining it for anyone but *potentially* myself. Even then, without any hits around here, am I really ruining it at all? Not really.

Well I assume the reason I now only ever get Streetpasses from England (I don't live in Ebgland) is that people using the Mac address exploit are 'appearing' at the real street pass relays. From getting several real ones every day I now just get spammed with these fakes. Ruins it :(

I've had people from the U.S., England, Germany, Japan, Australia, France, Russia, Belgium. So I doubt it very much.
