The NID is different to the Club Nintendo ID? I think both are registered to the same e-mail account (the WiiU and the 3DS.... and the Wii for that matter) - so shouldn't they be connected?

No, as you say at the start of your post, it's the NNID that determines whether the accounts are linked. Have you used a different NNID on your 3DS?

Yeah, give it a go.

I think it's more to do with if the button gets sort of stuck down and it's still functional but not clicking right, maybe it won't do anything if it's completely broken, but give it a go. Even if it doesn't work, the worst thing that can happen is that I can say "lol I made you suck ur 3ds"

Bravely Default demo is beautiful. Have no idea what's happening in combat though. Think I'll pass on this until I've finished Fire Emblem. Having enough trouble committing to the one RPG.

Also, I hope to see you all online this Christmas for some Mario Kart, Resident Evil, Animal Crossing, etc.

Bravely default is brilliant. Surprisingly tricky at points as well, it might be me being shit with the defaults and that but I've had to end up grinding or spamming the summons of my linked friends or streetpasses. More of you need to get it though, it's only pixel that has apparently even played it that much.

On that as well, for anyone that does own the full game, why are my linked friends not updating? I've not got them back as summonable and their in-game levels (of their characters I'm Abi-linked to) don't seem to change either. Are these people not doing the update data, or am I getting the wrong end of the stick?

I should be on Kart on christmas day .Look out for Mark and Maveriq my mate should be on. I look forward to the next gen DS where you can have two games on at once so you can have ac towns open all the time. Similarly Bravely default is just one game too many for me. Still have to finish up Etrian Odyssey and have mario 3d world on the go. I think a new years resolution wil have to be to cut down on AC a little.

I followed the instructions from DeKay's blog for moving my data to a bigger SD but it keeps on saying that the card has been removed. I followed the steps, but am I supposed to delete the old file once I've copied stuff out of it at the end?

I know its Christmas but this is taking the piss really, its not like some of the service is down its the whole bloody store that you can't get to - we have games we want to buy via the store and we can't.

It's not just bloody demand either as i was trying at nearly 2am this morning when i came home from work and it was still down, 5 different devices and one of them i cant even finish the registration so each time you have to go through it all until it errors at the last stage.

Something happened as i initially got 3d land downloaded on xmas morning, moved onto the other new one and thats been it now for 24 hours - fuck off is it just demand its just broken :(
