Out of curiosity how are you checking the Streetpass hits?

I've been using Mac Cycle on Windows 7 for a while now but I have to make a bit of guesswork when it reaches the maximum of 10 passes per MAC address so I'm always checking it basically. Does this work in the same way for you?

It just cycles every 300 seconds. I'm fine with that.

Is it a ballache to update to a bigger SD card? I don't suppose I can just jam them in the PC, copy the shit across and have it work?

Ha, not sure what to make of that. It'll be ridiculously fun for at least 20 minutes though.

Upgrading your card is pretty easy, but I wouldn't say it was "ridiculously fun".

The promotion is aimed at rewarding those who register or link a Nintendo Network ID on the handheld, a feature that was recently introduced via a December 10 system update.

Those who perform the registration process between December 10, 2013 and January 31, 2014, will receive a download code for the Game Boy Color title via e-mail.

Download codes will be sent between February 13 and February 28, 2014 to the email address registered to the owner's Nintendo Network ID, the company said.

In addition to that nifty Mario Bros Deluxe promotion, the free Super Mario 3D Land download promotion is like a bonafide gift from the gods! :omg:

I'm getting a 3DS XL, Z:ALBW and Luigi's Mansion 2 for Christmas, you see. Alls I needs to do is register the XL and one of Luigi's or Zelda, and Mario 3D Land is mine for nothing :oYES!

I'll batter through the 3 of those and then, bizarrely, 3D World on the Wii U is going to have to wait :blink:

Nintendo: too many goddam fucking games! :wacko:

Anyone had the bug on the save screen of Super Mario Land 3D? This is the free download version on a brand new XL. I have a linked account thingy from my Wii U.

Basically the save screen is always empty ("New Game" x 3). If I choose the first slot it offers me my Wii U Mii (the only Mii on the system) but a different head actually appears on the slot. It isn't a new game though, my previous save is loaded in and saves fine but the save screen always has "new game" when I return to it.

So I'm selling my 3DS. I would like to keep all the downloaded content for the buyer to use, but at the same time transfer the Mii Plaza and Mii data onto an SD card for later use when I pick one up again in the future. Is that possible? The official system transfer guide on the Nintendo website says you can do it but only with the old and new 3DSs side by side
