Actually, Miiverse seems pretty cool. A really efficient way to share screenshots. Lack of friend stuff does suck, though, hopefully following all you guys isn't too hard

So, what does this new update do? Linking your Nintendo ID mean that digital purchases are tied to the account? If I play a game from Virtual Console, delete it, can I re-download it cost-free?

I thought there was an issue that the games were tied to the handheld and not the account. I must be mistaken.

You can redownload things on the same console as many times as you like. If you want your stuff on another console then you'll have to do a system transfer. There's no limit for the amount of transfers that you can do now.

Okay, if you click on the smiley face icon in the centre of the Miiverse app buttons, you can see your activity feed. That'll show all posts by people you follow. I guess they haven't integrated friends with Miiverse (which makes sense given initially it was separate on the Wii U) so you'll have to follow people by clicking on your Mii icon in Miiverse and 'search for users'.

It's not that bad running on the 3DS, actually.

If you don't have a Wii U you don't have a NNID, so you can ONLY create a new one.

Yeah, create one. If, and when you get a Wii U. You can just log in with that NNID.

I think so - up to now the NNID was unique to the Wii U so if you don't have one you'll have to create one.

WHEN you get your Wii U you can use the same NNID on that.

I got an error when I tried to update Mii Plaza before doing the system update, once I had done that everything updated smoothly though.

As for Miiverse, looks neat, I'm disappointed there's such a small selection of 3DS communities to start off with. Guess it's early days though, the WiiU section looks pretty comprehensive.
