I just bought a 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 for 129.99 from amazon. Hopefully should also bag me Mario Land 3D for free. I'm also going to buy Zelda.

Pos me for making a really good decision people.

**Ahem**

Merry Christmas (and for anyone who bought the Amazon deal)

So Nintendo squeaked out a little 3DS direct to announce the release of their Louvre Guide on the eShop. If you've always wanted to see Iwata and Miyamoto romantically wander about the Louvre like Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy then here's the video for you:

And if you just like reading erotic fiction, then there's an intimate one-on-one with the BFFs here:

It's £17.99 on the eShop now apparently, and it actually looks quite decent if you're interested in arty museumy stuff, with over 30 hours of audio commentary and hundreds of pictures to peruse.

Asked my sister if she registered her 3DS and if not, she could get Super Mario 3D Land for free. She registers it all just now and goes "so what do I do now?"

I look up the 'how to claim' page. Has to be done after 3pm today. Fired off an email to customer support, pointed out that it was an hour before. They're bound to sort it out for her, right?

I'm amazed they haven't got LTTP on the eShop to coincide with Link Between Worlds. Veterans wouldn't be able to resist (or at least I wouldn't) and there's a whole new audience curious about the references in new Zelda reviews to buy it.

Well exactly it seems like a no-brainer. I've never played it and I've wanted to for many years.

Must admit I'm kind of surprised to have jut read that it's not there too.

In other (Zelda related) news I started Between Worlds last night and even though I'm only half an hr or so into it it's lovely . Just how do Nintendo make their games so charming!?!

Oh and one other thing, anyone who's playing their 3DS and not using headphones is missing out on an audio delight!!

I just ordered a 2ds for youngest daughter for christmas - Toys R Us have a deal for the white one with nsmb 2 & lego friends for £139 - not amazing but they seem to be hard to get let alone a decent bundle!

The good bit is both girls love mario and nsmb2 is a trigger game for free 3d land on other daughters christmas xl!

When is sonic coming out?

So. What to get. 'Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros' vs 'Paper Mario: Sticker Star'?

What does the forum think? I've completed all the previous Mario and Luigi games on the DS; last Paper Mario I played was TTYD on the Gamecube (but *what* a game).

It's a bit strange Zelda has been out a week and we haven't got a new Puzzle Swap panel for it. Hope they've not stopped updating it now there's more Streetpass games.

I'm slightly obsessed with Puzzle Swap. I realise this isn't good.

I haven't played Sticker Star but it gets a rather mediocre reception. Dream Team is very good. Not quite as funny as Bowser's Inside Story, but plays just as well. You have to put up with a very slow overly-tutorialised first few hours, as seems to be the way with a lot of Nintendo's games these days (thankfully Zelda 3DS is exactly the opposite).

I didn't get the Luigi's Mansion 2 one until last month.
