Thanks for that. Hadn't thought about them. I don't have one nearby so I've ordered from the website. They also had Lego City: Undercover which I've been looking for at a reasonable price so that's a result.

Erm...oh dear  I suppose I may have been a bit hasty.

CEX have decent customer service (not necessarily in-store though!) so if there's a problem they'd sort you out.

Are you sure? Last time I saw it they lumped it all in with the Technology bit on the third floor.

Last time I was there there was a little HMV inside. Checked online and saw a few people commenting they didn't do games. I guess they may well be tucked away somewhere though.

Chances are if it was a HMV it's closed. There was also a HMV in the basement of Selfridges on Oxford Street which has since shut.

What'so this talk about games going out of print?

I was just looking at games on Amazon and saw NSMBU was £17.99 (I have it) but NSLBU is £55! Any ideas where I can pick up a cheaper copy? Are these region free?

Also when will super Mario 3D world come down in price?

I am not sure this has been answered

Also I note that Zelda Wind Walker HD is £50 on Amazon as well. :worried:

Where can I get that and Luigi (cheap) before they disappear?

Really fancy playing Hyrule warriors tonight but finding WiiU games in a shop is becoming like looking for hens teeth (don't want to download it). CEX have bugger all near me, supermarkets don't seem to stock WiiU stuff, HMV are either closed or overpriced, John Lewis near me's stopped stocking games and the nearest GAME closes in 8 minutes. I live in the middle of frickin London!! Absurdly, the best option might be to go navigate the Harrods sale crowds to see if their game department (if it still exists) has a copy of Hyrule Warriors.

Edit: Harrods don't stock video games anymore either. :(

Got mine from Argos, £34.99

New super luigi U is basically DLC for new super mario bros U. There were very few copies printed, so, no, you can't get it cheap.

All wii U games are region locked.

This week I bought MK8, Bayonetta1+2, Hyrule Warriors, Skylanders Trap Force (My guilty pleasure) and have Disney Infinity 2 and Skylanders Giants on order from Amazon (Giants is just over 13 quid. Worth it for the figures.

Oh and four Amiibos (plus Kirby on order from Amazon)

I think Sonic Transformed was one of my first games for the Wii U. Lovely racer

Just out of curiosity, I'll be registering my new Wii U on club Nintendo tomorrow. Is there any free games offers at the moment? Thought I heard something a few weeks back but probably mis heard as I can't find anything about it.

Had a jolly jape earlier playing the Luigi's Mansion game on Nintendoland with some members of my family. Mario Chase was also great fun. We were so preoccupied with those two that we didn't even get a chance to play the other games.

I had the same thing over xmas - mario chase, luigi's mansion and pikmin were all crowd pleasers. To be honest, only three games were played - mario kart, Nintendoland and mario 3d world.

I'd love to see some DLC for Nintendoland.

Finally got a copy of Hyrule Wariors from Marble Arch Argos. I'd forgotten what Argos was like, queued up for twenty minutes and then got put into a sub-queue. It's the retail equivalent of a refugee camp.

Best strategy is to use the quick pay terminal, then go off and do whatever else you need to do before coming back to pick it up. Queueing is so last gen.

Had a Wii U since Sunday and finally got to spend some more time with it today - exploring the Eshop and generally messing about with it.

Very impressed with what Nintendo have done here - spent a few hours on the Pikmin 3 demo today and had a big smile all over my face whist doing so. Not had as much fun with a game for ages. Got to the first boss and completely goofed it up controls are taking some getting used to!

Really looking forward to Zelda next year and catching up on the back catalogue. Rest of my consoles are looking boring after coming back from the Wii U..... LOL
