3D World is strongest for me in multiplayer with the kids. Then it's excellent, a dream come true even. If slightly aggravating when you're trying to collect stuff and a kid wrestles camera control away from you. I don't think I'd be terribly interested in single player, even though SM64 and Galaxy are my favourite games. Maybe it picks up later on, but I don't want to go on without the kids to find out. (We're on World 6)

When it comes to level design and wtf-factor, Galaxy wins but I still think I prefer 3D World because it dropped the waggle and is much better to play because of it.

It dropped the waggle but it also dropped the 3D, atmospheric landscapes and new settings. It took too much influence from New Mario, with only the most minor of 3D Mario elements left.

I got one, which is nice. First impressions of the pad is very positive, really good solid build to it.

Not played too much due to the sheer number of updates coupled with Christmas slowness. :(

But Smash Bros was a good laugh with the kids.

I always wondered what some of you lot were whinging about when you complained about the poor Gamepad battery life. I've never had it run out, until tonight and it appears to be the fault of Hyrule Warriors so thanks for all the recommendations, I can see this being quite an addictive game with all the power ups and unlockables.

I've only had one a month but we managed to all but run it down with me playing 3 Mario Kart GP and then 4 hours of Wii Sports Club Golf.

Which isn't too bad really.
