Nintendo Wii U

A couple of days ago I bought Super Mario Bros U, even though I don't own a Wii U.

Thus begins a slippery slope.

I'm just filling my basket online... Wii U Mario Kart bundle... Bayonetta 2... all I've got to do is click CHECKOUT...

Kirby's Epic yarn is superb! I bought it secondhand in Game last year for £9.99 or something, and what a bargain that was!

I got it for £6.99 from Argos :D

I of course shall play many different games, I have a PC and PS4 as well, but there's something magical about playing Nintendo games at xmas for me. It's very big on the nostalgia (Nintendo and Sega games/consoles at xmas time) but I at least know that every game I listed above will be pretty damn polished and not need loads of patches and actually fucking work. Plus the fact that Nintendo always put gameplay first and generally strive for 60fps, I appreciate that :)

Has everyone else known about this premium points thing all along? I have just discovered that I have £25 in download codes, which is a very pleasant surprise! But I had absolutely no idea I was accruing this. And then they put the website link halfway down the store page, not at the top...

Not complaining at all, quite the opposite, but it does seem to be being handled in a very, well, Nintendo way...

Lucky you checked when you did because if you haven't redeemed them by the end of this month they'd be useless.

You've until The end of March to claim them:

"Please note: the deadline for earning points in the Nintendo Network Premium reward programme is 31st December 2014. Only eligible purchases or eligible download codes used in Nintendo eShop for Wii U before 31st December 2014 will qualify for this promotion. The deadline to exchange your points for an activation code is 31st March 2015."

Bought wind waker HD. Absolutely adored it on GC and it was only a last minute change of mind that it wasn't my free Mario kart game (went for monster hunter in the hope it finally clicked and my god, did it ever!). Can't wait to play wind waker again, though.

Where did you get it from? I'm regretting not getting it for £25 from Tesco a couple of weeks ago.

I don't suppose anyone has any spare codes for Club Nintendo Points? Having rifled through my collection (and having to submit christ knows how many of those awful surveys) I'm now just 100 points short of getting the Mario Kart 8 Pin Badge set.

I could even send you a code back once I make my next purchase.

Despite Graham's generosity I didn't realise that you can't enter points for a game you already own (although it makes sense) which unfortunately rules out the majority of the WiuU titles.

Don't suppose anyone has any from DS/3DS titles, as I dont own many of those. Sorry for clogging the thread, this last 100 points are bugging me though ;)

I've got fucking tons of them. Want to PM me some DS/3ds game suggestions and I'll have a root about.
