Nintendo Wii U

Not really surprised but it's a shame there's no big Nintendo game for Christmas. I don't like Smash Bros.

Ah well. I shall have to drink lots of beer instead.

And then play Toad's Treasure tracker on the 2nd January, it's only a week after Christmas after all :)

I'm sure I will. But it's not the quite the same. I like to have a game to get stuck into over Christmas.

No, not my thing. It seems all the big titles this year are in a similar vein. Fast fighting games.

It's your own [Nintendo's] fault - we should all have been playing Naked War U on boxing day :(

That Captain Toad date is a bit silly. I suppose they're thinking the kids will get SSBU for Crimbo and then use any money or vouchers from auntie June to buy Captain Toad in the new year. Not sure if that'll work. It seems like the perfect Christmas day family game to me.

Because Hyrule Warriors impressed me so much I am thinking of getting Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, just wondering if the game is still broke? The reviews say it is a really bad port job, has it been patched at all since release?

I know there is now a PS4/XBone version (which kind of makes the wii u one redundant) but I'm still interested in the wii u version (cos I don't own a PS4 or Xbone).

Hmm, I'm the exact opposite. Barely touched mine in ages. The lack of a big release that appeals to me isn't helping. I've little interest in smash bros and captain toad looks less interesting than I thought it was going to be. I'll probably still buy both cause I love supporting Nintendo and I may pick up lBayonetta at some stage, but the bone and ps4 with their brilliant titles like sunset overdrive, alien isolation and evil within are getting all my playtime.
