That Captain Toad date is a bit silly. I suppose they're thinking the kids will get SSBU for Crimbo and then use any money or vouchers from auntie June to buy Captain Toad in the new year. Not sure if that'll work. It seems like the perfect Christmas day family game to me.

My stuff from NZ has finally arrived, so I at last hooked up my full set of Wiimote Pluses and nunchucks (Black, White, Red, Blue) last night. Beautiful. Now I just need some friends who want to play Wii U games.

Because Hyrule Warriors impressed me so much I am thinking of getting Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, just wondering if the game is still broke? The reviews say it is a really bad port job, has it been patched at all since release?

I know there is now a PS4/XBone version (which kind of makes the wii u one redundant) but I'm still interested in the wii u version (cos I don't own a PS4 or Xbone).

The Wii U is like Hansel - so hot right now. Every time I switch on my PS4, I just think "why?" and switch the Wii U on instead. Such a lovely little console.

Hmm, I'm the exact opposite. Barely touched mine in ages. The lack of a big release that appeals to me isn't helping. I've little interest in smash bros and captain toad looks less interesting than I thought it was going to be. I'll probably still buy both cause I love supporting Nintendo and I may pick up lBayonetta at some stage, but the bone and ps4 with their brilliant titles like sunset overdrive, alien isolation and evil within are getting all my playtime.
