Nintendo Wii U

You kinda knew it was gonna happen though :P

Was it Zoverstocks by any chance?

A seller called Games and Anime. Idiots. I wanted to get a game for less than the price of a medium pasty.

Zoverstocks is the Music Magpie people as I understand it. I've bought loads of dvds off them for 1p. They're pretty good and must clean their discs.

If anyone is after a cheap U, the brand new Basic Wii Party U bundles [basic Wii U console, Nintendo Land, Wii Party U, extra Wii Remote Plus] can still be had for €180 (£150-ish).

AFAIK, even though it's from the Amazon Italy, the UK site should cover you if the console does develop any problems. It's an excellent deal if you plan to use your own storage, and with the Premium Points Promotion running out soon, you won't miss out on much.

I just tried to play The Wonderful 101 for the first time. Did I miss a tutorial, or does the game just chuck you in at the deep end without much idea of what's going on? After replaying the first mission a few times I think I started to get the hang of it, but I'm still 80% bewildered.

It also makes my new 32-inch TV feel small <_< I'm old, damnit, 32-inches is a big TV.

If I was to buy one of these, can you do the system transfer from a Wii U premium to an external HDD attached to a basic model?

Someone on here has done some YouTube tutorials for it. I've remembered that from quite a while ago as its in my pile of shame but I did have a quick go on the (widely recognised as terrible) demo and was completely lost as to what the on earth was going on :).

Wahey! I relented and picked one up from Argos today to cheer myself up. Really good family game on Mario Kart.. Fuck me the updating side is painful though, Id hoped that my PS3 was the last I'd see of that sort of horror! Loads to look forward to now though.

That was, mercifully, the last you'll see of it - once the system is totally up-to-date it'll download and install all future updates (both for system firmware and games) while in standby.

The initial update is indeed a bit of a pain. I went out for a couple of pints, it was ace knowing that when I got home I had new console to go at!!.

Anyway, like rgraves says when you're done with that then that's it and indeed you've got so so much quality stuff to look forward to now :). Bloody brilliant machine!!!
