Nintendo Wii U

I'm in two minds about Tropical Freeze, I got really mad about the pinpoint-jump minecart levels on the 3DS one and stopped playing it so I wasn't thrilled to see more of them in trailers for the new one, but oh my god the music:

Is the Wii U version of Dreamfall Chronicles still coming out?

Was that on the kickstarter as a goal? I remember it being mentioned it's possible as unity is up and running on wiiu but it wasn't a priority /game is not going to be made with wiiu in mind so may not scale to perfectly. I didn't really follow the wiiu bits but that's what i remember of the top o my head.

Yeah I'm faced with a similar pile which is why I've ended up being sensible and cancelling my Tropical Freeze pre-order :(

The only really omission from my collection so far is Monster Hunter, just waiting for the boxed version to drop to the £25 sweet spot.

BLOPS2 is great. Big daft CoD and doesn't take itself too seriously. It knows exactly what it is and the final level is great.

It really isn't. Even if you ignore the jingoistic themes and creaking gameplay what really pissed me off about it was the utter lack of fun. It's not even a daft, slapstick run through a 6 hour Michael Bay movie. It's a bored, cynical retread of older CODs, devoid of ideas, flapping to find any sort of significance in a world where other game developers have caught up and shot past them at speed. I found it so utterly boring and rote I couldn't even be bothered finishing it. It's a series of low points, followed by a series of even lower points. Every bad bit of game design, every gaming trope is shoved on the screen until you can't help but groan. It has it all, even entirely earnest turret sections, which it proudly includes without a hint of shame or irony. It's fair to say I was ashamed to find myself playing it and selling it was a pleasure.

I can't remember exactly, but I remember the developers saying they'd been working on it in an interview with Edge.
