Nintendo Wii U

I think that's a pretty good approach.

The problem you've got now is that kids are getting shitty tablets, at least getting something in front of them (videos or simple demos) but with the full version only on Nintendo hardware, sounds like a better strategy than going "full retard", I mean full mobile!

It's probably the best way to advertise to that audience and it is kind of novel. If they can somehow integrate it wi Miiverse so that it's meaningful for owners of a Wii U, then it could be quite cool

I'm betting they just make a "Nintendo App". Miiverse, game videos, maybe even buy stuff from the eShop.

Haven't they said something about using mobiles for demos and suchlike?

I hope this is like Smartglass and the PSN app combined and filled with NINTENDO. Cross-buy would be a fucking revolution - imagine if they let you log in with your NNID and play your NES and SNES games in your phone. It'll never happen because Nintendo, but they really need to wise up.

I hope we get a bunch of new games, designed exclusively for touch-screen control. Wasn't the DS originally going to be touch screen only at one point? They must have a load of ideas.

Even existing games like Advance Wars would work really well, especially on tablet.

Yeah I'll have to investigate what kind of games zombiiU, lego, and wonderful are,

since my initial reaction was sick of zombies, never played a lego game, just some demo and found it boring, and wonderful 101 as another platinum experiment that may or may not work.

I did enjoy darksiders, but didn't the sequel get a very poor reception?

At minimum give the ZombiU demo a go. The full game is only about £8 on the eShop now, and it's an absolute corker - just dripping with atmosphere. I can't recommend it highly enough to people.

Darksiders II is more of the same, so if you liked the first you'll probably like the second as well. I think it reviewed OK iirc. Again, it's cheap as chips in plenty of places as well now so no need to pay more than £12-13 for it.

Aaaaand I have it, aaand it's the worst new console set up experience, mainly, or entirely because I can't get it to connect to the internet.

The furthest I've gotten is to use Wifi protected setup PIN thing, and set up a static IP address, and I can connect to the router, but not the internet, Why?

tried adding it to the DMZ, does nothing.

This probably won't work for you but worth a try as it solved my similar problem: Try turning it off and on again. Yes, I'm serious :)
