Ok he said he didnt know what the game was really about so I have let him off.

Sonic isn't in it really is he?

I got myself a Wii U today.

Mario 3D World really is something special isn't it, for some reason I didn't expect it to look as as gorgeous as it does, so I was pretty blown away with the graphics.

It's a damn great game! Expect a lot of moneys worth out the game - i must be on 30+ hours and i still have the last few stars to get (got screwed after beating bos blitz when the time ran out 2 seconds before the goal post.. so yeah need to do that again.

I'm still really enjoying Lego City Undercover, it's a fantastic game! Loving collecting different outfits and vehicles and of course doing the missions. The cut scenes are genuinely laugh out loud funny, just did a job on a construction site and the foreman was doing an Arnold Swartzenegger voice, I've never laughed at a game so much in my life!

Can see myself collecting stuff in this game long after the credits roll. I honestly have only 2 negatives about the game: loading screens are long and some of the platforming controls aren't very tight, That's all. It's like a fun version of GTA that the whole family can enjoy. Even the wife had a play and she never strays far from candy crush.

Dr. Luigi has just kicked my face in. Even in the mode where they are all L-shaped pieces. Now, I was once a Tetris demon, but I only played the tiniest amount of Dr. Mario before deciding it just wasn't as good. I also got pretty good at Columns, and after a while nobody wanted to play me at Puyo Puyo, so WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?

How? You get given 100 extra seconds just before the goal pole and even if you're crawling from there to the pole it's not going to take you more than 20 seconds.

Yeah, your right all the levels have that don't they. I must have meant 2 seconds from the time. I beat all the bosses and was on the way to the pole anyway.

NPD's showed that the WiiU had it's best month ever. That means it sold in excess of 460,000 machines in the US during the month of December. All hail the power of good software and a price cut. Now if they drop the price a bit lower when Mario Kart hits then things could look better.

Not by much though by the looks of it. :(

Was Mario 3D World anyones GotY? If not why not? The Last of us is a good game, maybe a great one? I don't know but it was still pretty good in an over the top blockbuster action film sorta way. Bioshock Infinite bored me after a wonderful opening. Yet Mario 3D World has given me over 30 hours of solid fun, where not once was i bored and i usually get bored of games after about 7 hours. Filled to the brim with extras from Luigi Bros to captain toad levels and all of it working just as well whether you have 1 player or 4. Seriously, how was this game ignored by so many journalists when it clearly is a brilliant and most of all fun game.

If that's true, I don't think Iwata is going to make it to the end of the year.

No need to worry, Iwata is going to be leading the turn around, or something about Captains.

Iwata was quoted at the press conference today saying that he feels responsibility for the poor business performance at Nintendo, and he is sorry to all shareholders. He says the most important thing is to revigorate Nintendo's business as quickly as possible. He will NOT resign, but stay in office to carry that through.
