Nintendo Wii U

The UI layout isn't bad, it's just so sluggish and slow when going one menu to another or going back to the home screen..

This. I've never had a problem with Nintendos GUIs designs, in fact I think they're some of the best around. It's their responsiveness which Nintendo (and others tbh) always fall down on. Which is a shame since responsiveness is the number one most important consideration in ui design. It can even compensate for awkward design choices. Apple are the only company who consistantly understand the importance of responsiveness in their GUIs, imo.

Where's the best place to get a Pro Controller from? One of the boys has just spent some Christmas money on 007 Legends (I tried to talk him out of it but he was having none of it) only to find that for multiplayer it only supports the Pro. Not even the old Wii Classic Pro. But everywhere reputable online seems to have them at £45+.

I grabbed one the other day from PC world for £29.97. Also grabbed an official nintendo pack with a screen protector (not sure how prone the screen is to scratches) a screen wipe (it's a dust magnet for sure!) and a big fat stylus for just under £3 which was all surprisingly good quality.

Shame that I missed out on the nintendo land bargain, been keeping an eye out for that going cheap for a while, baaaaaaah!!

They had some last week in my ASDA for £20. You want me to have a look tomorrow for you?

So, earlier I thought I'd add a few of you to my friends list thing. Went into the miiverse but where it lets you search for people (which I successfully did) but then all I could find was a way to follow people? Do I do that and does it also send a friends request to them or am I looking in the wrong place / missing something (quite probable!)??

I'm enjoying it. What's wrong with it?

If you don't get the option to add them then their (or your) friend list is full, or they have requests turned off. Otherwise it's there right next to Follow.

It's the fact they're not simply at the start of levels, but can interupt you multiple times throughout the level as well, and skipping is not as instant as you'd like.

The charm of the NES original was the speed in which you could play the game.

Here Scrooge rambles on every 10seconds you find a coin in just the first level, for example.
