Anyone else enjoying Nano Assault? I know it didn't do brilliantly review wise (a 4 from E.G seems a bit harsh though!) but I'm rather liking it :)

Anyway if you are then please either just qoute this with a yes and I'll add you or add me so that we can get some leaderboard competing going on.

Oh and I'm posting this from the pad, it actually works q well for online stuff with the browser being the best console one l've used yet by quite some way.

Loving my WiiU!!

What's the Rllmuk community like on Wii u? I'm thinking of adding a few peeps but I share the console with my family so I'm naturally a bit cautious.

Feel free to add me matey.

I'm neither a perv nor a paedo and my drawing skills are that poor that if I were to draw a knob of fanny it woundn't be recognisable as either anyway (.)(.) .

We're a very nice bunch who always respect the family friendly nature of our console of choice. Plus I don't think Ninty allow mucky pictures or swears anyway.

Found my 20 month old son posting business cards into the wii u on Christmas Eve. Now I can't play Mario. :(

What are you doing letting him run his own business at 20 months? This is what happens when pushy parenting goes bad, he was probably just trying to hit target on new leads achieved.

Where were you a page or two back! Yes, I have it. cavalcade on WiiU - no penis pictures, my kids use the console.

I think it's far too easy. Shame really. I'm not sure there's enough meat on the scoring mechanics either, unless I'm missing something.

Quick question regarding User Accounts, when I set up the WiiU I created a user account under my name and linked my NNID to it. My two kids have just been logging in on that account, is there any good reason for me to set up separate User Accounts for them, and if I do that will they be able to access games I buy on my account on the eShop? They've got their own Mii's that they use in Nintendo Land etc and all the games we've played so far have multiple save slots so I'm just wondering whether there's any point?

Finally I had some time to play with the new Wii U, the children were watching Nickelodeon so I set up my NNID and YouTube up while using the gamepad screen, bought Zombi U and NES Remix and set them to download (which is taking absolute ages despite having a fast internet connection). After that was done, I played some Super Mario 3D World. All from the pad. Quite nifty really, I might use the feature more than I initially thought I would.

First impressions of the system are good, the hardware looks solid, the gamepad is heavy (I would have preferred it to be a bit lighter) but comfortable to hold and at least Super Mario 3D World (haven't played any other games yet) proves it can draw some very good looking graphics despite not being a 'proper' next-gen machine.

The whole user interface / OS is less impressive. Stuff takes ages to load, swapping is slow and it seems that the system reboots for every little thing you change or do. It can be a bit tiresome, especially when things are not working properly (like when the servers were hammered during Christmas). The whole online thing is a bit shit too, but at least better than it was on the Wii, DS and 3DS pre-Miiverse. Next I need to add some people and check out the Miiverse stuff, although I don't expect I'll be using it much or at all.

People who want to add me, my NNID is Napole0n (last "oh" is a "zero").

I don't even know what the hell you do with adding friends, following people or the miiverse in general. I have a massive one friend at the moment, I've no idea how I even accepted the request possibly due to alcohol :)

Just press the orange face at bottom of home screen and add NNID

Adding a few of you now

But then someone once said don't do that do it via Miiverse or something but I can't make head nor tail of any of it. Honestly, it's so fucking easy to make a universally intuitive and usable UI with a bit of thought, it's beyond belief how much of a half arsed effort of it is so regularly made.
