I eventually managed to buy Super Mario World snes but it gave me an error adding funds then it duplicated it so ended up with £40 rather than £20 being added / taken from bank.

Can't get the wii system transfer utility (though it worked fine on the Wii half an hour ago)Nintendo will never understand the internet.Also; can you not buy Paradroid or Uridium on the Wii VC any more??

What's most annoying though is how, rather than saying "our service is shite, can't connect to it" it tells you to go and check your own network settings as though there's something wrong there. Wonder how many people's time they are wasting pissing about with their console settings.

it's not just ninty that's down. my brother gave back his brand new xbone because after taking three hours to install a mandatory 500MB update, the first game he tried (forza) told him he needed a 6GB mandatory update before he could play.

I've done really well for WiiU stuff this Christmas. The wife got me Mario 3D, my brother got me Deus Ex, and the folks got me Lego Marvel, official WiiU headphones and the larger capacity pad battery.

Feeling very spoiled.

The headphones are nice and bassy, Mario looks gorgeous, and the presentation on Deus Ex makes it feel like a big budget movie.

Looks like I've lots of great gaming ahead.

I bought Lego City Undercover, will get Zombi U on the eShop and I'm going to order Nintendoland from Amazon. I think that'll do for a while, although I might be tempted to get Monster Hunter Ultimate.

I've had my Wii U just over a month now and got to say it has exceeded my expectations of it. As I have said before, I cancelled my PS4 order 5 days before release and decided to pick up a Wii U instead and wait until next year for the PS4.

How glad I am I did. The Wii U has been a breath of fresh air for my gaming needs at this present time. I was feeling pretty stale with the games on offer for the PS4/XBONE and the game on release date certainly didn't get me excited. It seemed the same old same old.

That's where the Wii U came to my rescue and gave me my gaming hunger back. Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros U, Zelda WindWaker HD to name a few have really got me enjoying my gaming again. There has been the odd exception like TLOU and Brothers on PS3 which I have really loved but again, I cannot stress how much I'm enjoying being back with Nintendo for the 1st time since the SNES.
