Wish I'd have taken Monday and Tuesday off work to catch up on some Wii U gaming. Fool I am.

All these people getting a Wii U for Christmas with over a handful of games... It's really great, and I'm jealous in a way, although I can't help but feel it may be a tad overkill. I've built a small collection of six games since July and even today I'm still back-logged with a ton of stuff to clear off before I'm properly done with any of them.

I think if someone suddenly dropped them on me for Christmas my head and heart would explode at the same time. There would be too much magnificent content to digest.

Play responsibly, I suppose!

Yeah, I've just ordered mine for delivery on Saturday and even before I got a confirmation email I started to get pangs of guilt about my existing pile of shame on the 360.

Truly I now know what people mean by first world problems. Now I also feel guilty about that.

NES Remix on the list, Rayman Legends still sealed, Splinter Cell on the way and going to Game tomorrow to look for a £22.49 copy of AC: Black Flag.

I've not bought this many games in such a short space of time since the Dreamcast.

And the GameCube.

Oh and the GBA.

Hmm, reading a few comparisons between versions of ACIV and they all seem to agree that the U version is the worst of the lot, with frame rate issues mentioned repeatedly

SMB3 on boxing day, my girls are getting 2ds and a 3dsxl and they love mario - what a cracking game to play over xmas but then i will want it on mine and of course on the wii u....

Do they do anything like cross buy promotions or family packs, i know its Nintendo and a stupid question but you know, maybe?
