Nintendo Wii U

Same here.

I had a thought - what exactly is stopping you from registering lots of copies of Wii Fit U with the same Fit Meter? Like, I'll go round my friend's house and register his copy to get a free Wii Fit?

Perhaps the gamepad sends some information back to the meter on the first transfer that links it to that console? In that case, what happens if your Wii U breaks and needs replacing?

I guess I just want everything to remade in HD.

MP has incredible design and art, it's a shame to see it smothered behind a low resolution

We should just ask for the moon on a stick and have Platinum make Metroid x Starfox already.

Have Nintendo launched their xmas advertising campaign?

What they need to do is spell out that the wii u is not an add on, that it's all new with far better graphics than the wii, and has a tablet like controller. Spell it out very simply and spice it up making it sound very modern and next gen. Not sophisticated advertising, but they kept it really simple for the wii and that worked. Advertisers often do not do this. I noticed a BT ad for their new sports channel earlier that was also more information led and simple rather than about 'the brand' after take up for their channels has been slow. Wii U needs something like that as too much confusion among consumers.

Have I become shit at games, or am I too used to Rayman, or does NSMBU just not fuck about with its difficulty?

It was a good challenge getting all the star coins and finishing the game without the super guide.

so, after spending last night out with some rllmuker's, we played one thing pretty much since yesterday until i left today to come home - nintendo land.

had an absolute blast playing with four people on (mostly) animal crossing and the donkey kong pachinko game.

utterly brilliant fun :wub:

Its not tough, i think its more that you get punished for mistakes more than other games - anytime i died it was my fault and you can always see how to do it if you look!

Maybe they just frontloaded the insta-death a bit. There's a few levels in a row where you're on moving platforms over lava/drops and I fell quite a lot. I think I'm still not used to Mario's inertia in this game which was causing the most issues.

I had a games night thing at work the other week as we had one of those ridiculous 6 grand (or whatever stupid money) 4K Sony TV's in temporarily and we have a PS3 and a 360 there anyway but no-one knew bugger all about the WiiU so I brought mine in and nothing but Nintendo Land was played all evening, just as we were setting up, I thought I'd show some other things;

Get used to this feeling. Whenever I feel like a challenge I boot up my WiiU. Some stuff makes Revengeance seem like a piece of piss.

I don't watch a lot of TV but have noticed PS3 ads (the one which mentions it has skylanders, lego marvel, and walking with dinosaurs) and also some for the 3DS (pokemon, AC etc.).

Has Nintendo stopped advertising the Wii U on TV? Apparently, some people buy things like that for Christmas.
