Nintendo Wii U

Yeah, NSMBU is fantastic. I've been going through it in 2 player with my girlfriend and we defeated Bowser yesterday. Now we need to get the Star Coins! Multi's all about coordinating the lives, it's very easy to lose progress by both going down to zero on the same level. It's proper old school saving, we had to restart from ages back a number of times. It's much more fun than the single player (which is still really good), there are comedy moments galore when you accidentally bump into/jump on/throw your partner. But yeah, NSMBU is way, way better than I thought it would be. I hope it gets a sequel next year.

The only annoying quirk is that you can't play with one player on the game pad and the other on a Wiimote. Having to use 2 Wiimotes is bizarre.

Can't you just tell me it's rubbish? I can't get a Wii U. I can't. I'm getting a PS4 in just over two weeks. What am I even thinking about it for?

It's rubbish, right?

Get the PS4 in six months. It might actually have a game worth buying the system for by then.

Another vote for NSMBU (sorry toythatkills) it really is one of the best platformers I've ever played, let alone one of (if not the) best 2D marios.

I only really bought it as the WiiU was the epitome of HAZ NO GAEMZ in the early days but it totally surprised me. Initially it seems quite samey but the level design is quite frankly amazing at times, especially that all of the levels also work with the tanooki suit and / or 4P, it's not like one mode has the other stuff shoe horned in, or using a particular powerup totally breaks a level.

The overworld map is also bloody great and it's possibly (although I might be getting a bit carried away here but possibly) better than SMW.

I've ordered a Wii Fit pedometer thingy. And then had some chocolate to "give myself something to work with".

We had some great fun with the U this weekend. I'd totally forgotten how good Nintendoland is, and realised there were still loads of games on it I'd hardly played, and even a few I'd never seen in the first place. The Metroid one is everyone's current favourite. I'm planning on using it as a gateway drug before hooking them on the Prime trilogy.

Just ordered a Wii U myself. I haven't been given a tracking number but have asked for one. Just waiting to hear back from shopto now. Is it possible to change the address the item is being delivered to or can you only select neighbours? I just realised that no one is going to be in tomorrow and my work address is quite a way from home.
