Nintendo Wii U

It's not the file that matters it's breaking the ice with a digital purchase.

Lots of free-to-play games on iOS have a 'no brainer' item (coin doubler etc.) which exists mainly to break that ice and get that first purchase out of the way even if it's at the cheapest price band possible.

I would say having the CC is important too.

Rather than having to get your wallet and dig it out and every time you want to make a purchase, it's just a password away. The reason buying stuff on your iPhone is so easy is because Apple have your payment details.

Yeah. I just tried to friend Moz in miiverse, but there was no option to send a friend request. Is there a setting that you have to set to allow friends requests in miiverse?

I tried to send a friend request to him as well, but I'm guessing it might be because he hasn't even gone to his Miiverse yet.

The Wii game was great, but there's an impossible level late in the game which ruined it for me.

Yep it's great, a nice difficulty curve too, i only played the basic levels to complete the game, i guess i didnt get that far.

Fuuuuuckkkk. So tempted. How much would the games cost separately? I'm wondering if I'd be better off buying a basic pack for around 150.I forgot what the premium has bar more memory

Basic plus Mario then downloading luigi DLC for it would be like £210/£215 I think (don't quote me on that), but if you wanted luigi on disc (as it is in that bundle) it would be more. Of course you could just buy the basic and Mario 3D World and skip NSMB for now if you wanted to keep it extra cheap.

Once you've cancelled your PS4 pre-order you'll have the cash spare so you may as well get the premium one, but I think the only extra stuff it has is the extra memory and some bits of plastic, gamepad stand, stuff like that. Maybe the basic also comes without a wii sensor bar? I don't know, do your own research!

Probably no one bothered but I just picked up Fifa 13 from blockbusters, new, for £5.58. Nice.

I'd buy it for that price. Even if it would make me constantly annoyed that they hadn't put team management stuff on the gamepad.

It is just utterly daft that you can't play Wii Sports U or Wii Fit U without an internet connection. Why is it needed? This is the company that thinks its fair to charge £6 for utter shite like Super Castlevania 4 that came out 21 years ago and was crap then I suppose

Perhaps they think its fair exchange to ask you to stump up £6 for a lan adapter on ebay rather than use an utter shite internet connection that was crap six years ago?

Are you serious? The only software that requires an internet connection is a couple of FREE, digital downloaded, timed demos. 100% of downloaders have a net connection. There isn't really a problem or even a sniff of wrongness.

Perhaps you took me up wrong Jon. I was mocking his tone and paraphrasing him to suggest there was nothing wrong with it and that he was moaning about something that could be sorted out for the price of a gaming mag. That's why I linked to said device so he could enjoy his Wii fit.
