You need to use one of the savegame exploits to install the Homebrew Channel: http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/WiiMode

Then use the d2x cIOS installer to install custom IOS for the loader - recommended config here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-guide-to-install-cios-on-vwii-backup-nand-and-keys.339890/

You can use the same HD, but the WiiU will nag you to reformat it if you leave it plugged in. You can use this to hide the drive from the WiiU: http://gbatemp.net/threads/ustealth-wii-u-format-disk-nag-solved.352786/

As of the update which allows Wii mode to display on the GamePad, the Homebrew Channel is forced into 4:3 mode on startup. Until it's updated, you can run this app from it to restart in the correct aspect ratio: http://www.tueidj.net/aspect_fix.zip

Just watched the Direct from earlier, actually quite a few games coming out and not enough time!

The sonic bit was odd, the voice over is awful but watching it with my 13 year old daughter and she said 'looks like mario galaxy to me'

Why? I find them quite funny. I like them. They are completly throw-away, I really don't see the issue. If folks don't find them funny, don't watch them.

Are we seriously thinking of asking people to stop posting things that some people don't find funny? On the basis that we THINK they might be fake - because I'm not convinced on that, I think in some cases they clearly have played the games, and clearly are reviews.

I vote you keep posting them NEG - some of them make me laugh. None of them have so far crept into my room and raped me while I slept.
