Somehow, New Mario U came in the post today. Maybe it was wrongly posted to a neighbour. I haven't even played it yet, but already I want to buy the Luigi DLC.

It's really not. I was playing Super Mario 64 and Super Hang On last night while the others watched X Factor on the telly, I feel I was the winner in that one.

You have to have a daisy chain of controllers to play games on the small screen of a controller...it really is!

If there was an HD version of Mario 64 which was playable on the WiiU controller then that would be great. Currently it is very shit.

Wii mode is as hacakble as a real WIi - all the savegame exploits still work, and the Homebrew Channel custom IOSes and USB Loaders all now have vWii compatible versions. I don't have a compatible hard drive at the moment, but someone has also released an app which hides it from the WiiU so it won't prompt you to reformat it all the time.

I used Indiana Pwns to install the Homebew Channel.

It's being worked on. Devolution is the name of the emulator I think.

As happy as I was to pick mine up at launch, I really think that NOW is the time to pick up a Wiiu. Loads of great launch games for cheap, a good assortment of games for all tastes and some great bundle deals at last. Plus you've got two great Mario games just around the corner. WW HD just released too.

Is there ANY news on the TVii service in the UK? That's been almost a year and NOTHING. Seems like a missed opportunity with the xbox one promoting a similar service.

Was also thinking about the Wii mode on gamepad. I wonder if Nintendo had this planned long ago? People are asking- how do I balance the gamepad ?!? And I forgot Nintendo already has the answer in the premium pack.

That stupid gamepad stand (not the charger, the other pointless one)! Well, I thought it was stupid and pointless at the time, so left it in the box.

Now it makes sense....it's perfect for standing the gamepad on the sofa arm!!

I'm trying to tell this to people without coming over as being a big fanboy. I waited until Pikmin 3 and a TW101 release date before diving in (that was my plan all along) yet I'm already backlogged... I've not got all the fruit on Pikmin, I've still to ace Mario, and TW101 is going to keep me busy for months.

As a result of TW101 I've had to pass on Zelda and completely ditch my FFXI progress (picked it back up to clear story-line content with real life friends from back home).

My shop only has one copy of Luigi-U left, and I really want it before it vanishes forever. There's no way I'm going to be ready for Mario next month, or that LttP sequel. T_T
