Mind though that giant horn had better only be there for the demo, cause they should really have the actually useful map from the handheld versions down there.

At one point he pressed a button on the gamepad and the map was there.

He switches it to a Map for a moment about three minutes in when the second course is starting. Pretty basic map, though. Game looks like Mario Kart, but also lovely. If online works and leaderboards are good (as well as maybe rayman legends style daily challenges) then it will be ace. Hopefully some clever asymmetric local multiplayer modes too.

There's something unimpressive about that DKC game. I mean, it looks fine and all but it doesn't have that glossy sheen we're seeing with Mario 3D World or Mario Kart. It doesn't look next.5 gen. It just looks like a decent sequel to the Wii game.

Hopefully they've held it back for that reason and it'll look amazing next year.

Yeah, it doesn't look all that great in that trailer, which is weird, because I've played a few levels of it - including that seal boss - and it looked fantastic. Feels like they've cobbled together that trailer from rough footage where they haven't added all the visual effects. Maybe that's the reason for the delay - Nintendo wants it to look better.

Wii u version of assassins creed IV may not get DLC. Wonder if watchdogs will get the same treatment.

This kind of news is pushing me to get the PS3 version. Stupid Ubisoft.

Nothing announced yet re: Animal Crossing. You may be thinking of the trailer for Smash Bros from the E3 Nintendo Direct which shows an Animal Crossing character.

NSMBU is ace, granted, but how nice would it be to see a white deluxe SM3DW pack with a pro controller thrown in? Fancy box, massive marketing push, maybe even a bit of a price cut to get it at 200. Get it on shelves the day the PS4 hits too. At least that'd be trying.
